Amazon UK says Volume 5 is out today and that I'll receive it by Christmas. Amazon US has changed its release date to 4 Feb. Guess which one I believe.  Martin |

Ahh thanks for the reminder! Hadn't updated my delivery address on this since moving. When logging in to do so it still expects a delivery by 24th Dec but also says there is an 'unexpected delay' on the order...

Yes, I got that too. Had been hoping for it to be released in time for me to take it away on Christmas holiday, but never mind.
The email did tell me I'd got a free upgrade to release date delivery as well, but as I'm a bit down on Amazon and their ethics lately I'm already thinking I might cancel it and get it on release date in a bricks and mortar shop (Orbital, maybe).

I'm sure the book is completed finished - just that it could be printing side, maybe IDW have printed some pages in the wrong order & this time they are correcting that unlike with v2. But they need v6 out with last of colour in before TF4 takes over & to cash in on the 30th Ann stuff.

I would hope so. The out of order pages in vol2 along with the poor scans of the stories and crap paper put me off buying any further volumes. A shame, as the supplementary stuff was great.

Now Volume 5 is put back to March!!! What is it that prevents a publisher that reliably produces monthly comics containing new material from accurately predicting release dates for this series?  Martin |

I'd be surprised if we saw it in March. And to be fair, the release date IDW have given is TBD, Amazon are just making up their own dates.

I gave my UK Classics vols to Oxfam. I enjoy the articles but the poor presentation of the comic strips meant I could not justify the shelf space which is increasingly limited for me. However, I do want a copy of the articles so plan to replace them with digital versions and will get vol 5 the same way upon release. The articles are great.

That's the estimated arrival date Pete, not the release date! Released on 17th, they estimate it'll be with you by 25th-27th..... when we all know it'll have been delivered.
