It was written by Mark Gruenwald. Andy I've just got the HC down to check. Story is Gruenwald, Mantlo & Steve Grant. Script is Mantlo So I think we can safely say our man is involved and probably has done the lion's share of the writing work.

SPIDER-MAN: MARVEL TEAM-UP BY CLAREMONT & BYRNE (Collecting MARVEL TEAM-UP (1972) #59-70 and #75) As some of you will know I've got a little side project going trying to collect colour trades of all Byrne's Marvel work. So I couldn't resist this. From the off there's a couple of problems: it's missing the Byrne drawn MTU 53-5, admitedly written by Mantlo not Claremont but still.... Then there's the absent MTU 79: Spider-Man & Red Sonja, missing I assume due to rights issues. But the biggest problem is this: All these issues look better in Black & White in Essential Marvel Team Up 3.
Spider-Man's Greatest Team Ups I bought solely to get a colour copy of Amazing Spider Man Annual 15. I've had a UK sized b&w copy in the Spider-Man winter special (1982?) for donkeys years. I've got it in two Essentials (Punisher 1 & Spider-Man 10). I'd never read it in colour so I tracked down a cheap copy of this old Boxtree trade. Guess what? Miles better in Black & White!

Softcovers of Books 1 and 2 of ABC Warriors: The Volgan War secured. Beautiful stuff and Mills back on track with the ABC's as we go back to the Volgan War. Clint Langley's art is gorgeous.

It's a nice idea, but I think that the sort of people who would want to drop a tenner on a hardback trade of random Marvel stories would own them anyway. Might have been wiser to do paperbacks and make them cheaper. Who knows though, I could be wrong!
