At Glasgow Comic Con I picked up from the 2000ad team - Nemesis The Warlock: Deviant Edition - the HC reprint of the Eagle series as coloured by Kevin O'Neill, Strontium Dog - Blood Moon and the updated softcover of Thrill Power Overload.
From Comixtribe I grabbed the And Emily Was Gone Trade Paperback from John Lees and Iain Laurie- atmospheric horror comic.
From FPG on Sunday I saw the Metallica graphic novel Nothing Else Matters was on sale so I grabbed that. - Not impressed at all, a rather lifeless affair.

That's an awful lot per issue
I suppose a release like this increases the chances of the remaining issues popping up on Comixology.

I am one of the very few fans of The Champions but at that price-point no way. That is insane!
I weep for my lost paperback volumes and am dismayed that the series is not yet digitally available. Bloody love The Champions. A curtailed run and yet that Defenders pish ran for years!

While I will admit that much of the Defenders is pish, the Gerber run on it is one of THE best team book runs I have ever read and desperately deserves a colour collection. I also have a soft spot for the New Defenders run from 125 onwards.

That Champions MMW has quite a high page count by the standards of the line at 432 - that month's other release is DD at 264 (for $75). I would have been quite happy with a complete/epic collection TPB for much less money, though.
Glad to see the Valentino Guardians release; I'll also be picking up the Moon Knight and Silver Surfer epics I think. Been wanting to read the Englehart SS run for quite a while.

The Iron Fist epic is nearing the top of my to-read pile... I have been burning through collections lately, been on quite a comic-reading kick for some reason.
Deathlok: The Souls of Cyber-folk was very good indeed, better than I expected - the Macduffie issues are clearly superior to the Wright ones, though even they are fun, and Cowan's art is absolutely wonderful.
Spider-Man: Round Robin was pretty weak; I bought it mainly because I only ever read the first part of the Vibranium Vendetta annual story as a kid. It's a story with some nice ideas but ends limply. Round Robin itself is a fairly poor Milgrom-scripted thing which doesn't feel like a Spider-Man story at all, and the remaining Michelinie issues are not the best of his work. Oh, and there's the Fear Itself GN which is ... odd. The main redeeming feature for me is Bagley on art. Oh, and Andru does his best with Fear Itself.
Currently reading the Behold the Vision epic (brilliant so far) and Hulk: Crossroads (which is also great).

Poor Dawn of the Dread Force...sadly unfinished.
The look of contempt on everyone's faces that Scotcon I dished out copies. Still makes me smile.

Finished The Incredible Hulk: Crossroads and with it Mantlo's phenomenal work on the title (not to mention Sal Buscema's). A great read, as with the rest of this run combining insane ideas with genuine pathos. The only, minor, complaints I have are that Talaoc's inks do Mignola's pencils no justice and the resolution felt a little unsatisfying, dramatically.
I have never read any of Mantlo's Alpha Flight run, but the one issue reprinted here was quite enjoyable.

No, works fine for me. Just lamenting the continued lack of Iron Man omnibus hardcovers. Time to give up with that. Odd that Punisher MAX is getting another run out.

The text is corrupted in many places on the iPad. Can you find out the issue numbers in the ASM and Iron Man epic collections, both of which look like they,re the next volume after the initial offerings, and the Cap epic?
