That .co.uk needs to be .com to work Phil. I'm with the Doc though. Having just reread all those TFUK issues those Machine Man stories are no better now than they were then. Bilge.
However the 2020 reboot is some nice Bladerunner era scifi. Pity that was only a limited.
The last TFUK issue I reread had a letter asking if Arno Stark really is the proper Iron Man, to which the answer was, yes, and that somewhere between 1985 and 2020 Tony Stark will snuff it!

Well to be fair they weren't wrong! Tony Stark died for good in the mid 90s remember, after he was revealed to have been a villain working for Kang all this time! And then replaced by his younger future self!

And what became of Arno then? Does he exist still? Despite professing to love Iron Man, my knowledge of his canon is lacking.

Arno has been kicking around in some issues in Panini vision in some sort of 'city of tomorrow' but it never seems to be explained who he is, what he is doing and how he got there!

Simonson Thor is probably one of my favourite runs. It manages to be at once gloriously epic and do the mythological stuff really well , and at the same time there is still a great vein of humour running through it. You mean like Clark Kent and Lois Lane having a cameo in the same story that Nick Fury suggests Thor hide his identity by wearing glasses... Martin Yep, exactly like that. That gives me a smile every time. There is such a sense of fun to Walt's Thor - which contrasts rather nicely with the enormously epic stuff which is also going on. I miss that sense of fun in superhero comics. Karl

Yes, Arno is explained in "The Secret Origin of Tony Stark". As I recall it was something about him being the son of the Starks, who may not be Tony's biological parents, who did a deal with an alien robot to augment Arno's brain in return for their help with what he was planning... I lost track of it entirely about there. Karl

That story's only just been in Marvel Legends and I didn't make the connection at all!

It was during Gillen's run; Arno is Howard and Maria Stark's "real" son as Tony turned out to be adopted (I feel that was long enough ago now not to need spoilers!). Given that all this also featured a certain freelance peacekeeping agent and a rogue Recorder, it is of some interest here! (obviously, also not a coincidence) -Jim

But has yet to be reprinted in Marvel Legends which is running waaaaay behind the US, much worse than the other Marvel CEs
The issues in the new issue, out Thursday, should be Cap 17 (released 19 February 2014), Iron Man 16 (2 October 2013) & Thor 16 (18 December 2013)
Cap's got a major upcoming storyline has been blown by Avengers Universe!
By contrast Axis 5, started in this Month's Avengers United, was released 12 November 2014. The latest issue of Spider Man contains a story published 18th March this year!

I read in Panini Vision as US comics are too expensive. I don't really bother with comics websites as they are generally not very good so I rarely know what is happening 'currently'.

Snap. Paninivision is a great way to get a taste of the Marvelverse without all that tedious mucking about with which titles are doing what. I've no time to keep up with the entire pantheon, Panini distills the necessary plots and titles into handy monthly combo books. Love it. I care not a jot it isn't bang up to American date.
It also means I read stuff I otherwise wouldn't have done, like Thor and Cap.

I have borrowed 'Original Sin' and 'Wolverine: Blood Wedding' from the library.
Should I read them?

Original Sin was... different. The moral of the tale appears to be that Earth survives because we have a long-range sniper on the Moon. On weekends.
The book also contains Original Sins. I suppose I'd better read it.

Original Sin was OK, but can't say I actually enjoyed it. And Original SINS is awful. I wish I could un-read that 'Young Avengers' story. I think I'll stick to 20th Century comics in 2016.
So what did Fury whisper to Thor that made him unable to wield his hammer?
Wolverine: Blood Wedding was decent enough, though it's so heavy on first person dialogue boxes that it really draws attention to the moratorium on thought balloons.
Original Sin takes such pains to explain Nick Fury and Dum-Dum's lack of ageing that it draws attention to the lack of ageing in just about every other Marvel character. Reading the Wolverine trade, it seems like Kitty Pryde has aged about five years in twenty years or thereabouts.

Jubilee is also now a vampire. Riiiiight. OK, I assume someone somewhere has compiled a list of plot devices to explain characters not ageing. 1. Robot decoy 2. Frozen in ice 3. Mutant power of not ageing 4. Asgardian ... 67. 'Infinity formula' ... 354. Vampire ... Martin
