No, we're talking about Twilight, which focuses on the AoA material that was produced years after the original crossover. I've been warned off it by folk who, like me, have love for the original crossover. There is apparently also a giant 1072-page Age of Apocalypse Omnibus edition out this week. Martin

Chasing some trade info: X-Factor Genesis & Apocalypse www.amazon.co.uk/dp/1302900684www.amazon.com/dp/1302900684As you can see both Amazons have vastly different dates. Hasn't showed on the shipping lists. No sign on pullist. So...... Does it actually exist and when's it actually coming out?

Rebought the Emerald Dawn trade (original was pulped in the steam stripping incident a few years back).
I really miss pre Geoff Johns Hal Jordan. The angry, unhappy older dude.

I've finally started on Dark Horses' Savage Sword of Conan collections - the big 500 page books collecting the 70s Marvel comic. It's simple stuff but I do love me some Swords and Sorcery fun. Really enjoying them. Just wish I'd got off my arse and started buying them years ago before they started going out of print.

Just finished Contest of Champions v1.
Think this might be up Ralph's alley. Bit mad, starts as a Superhero vs Superhero story and .....takes a bit of a left turn involving some old Silver Surfer foes.
If Panini Hulks survives Secret Wars I can see this getting a UK printing there.
Also read New Avengers v1. Enjoyed it but nothing special.

Picked up Jupiter's Legacy from LCS for £8.00.
Gorgeous art from Frank Quitely, story is nothing earth-shattering but Millar does restrain himself from his usual cruel cynicism throughout.

Yes, but I've learnt from experience that books in the post often get dented or otherwise marred. If I see a perfect condition copy on a shop shelf, I'll pay a few quid extra for it.

Enjoyed 'X-Men: Inferno' a lot, including the Blues Brothers aftermath. I just wish it didn't revolve around a clumsy attempt to re-explain past stories that makes 'Two Megatrons' look like the culmination of a well thought out master plan on the part of Budiansky and Furman.

I am the same. The number of Dredd partworks that have arrived with minor wee dinks to them. Andy That's annoyed me from the start and is so easily fixed by using packaging with extended corners like Amazon does. I don't get why they put so much effort into producing beautiful books, then ship them in thin sleeves that offer no protection.

I do see that, but another inch of cardboard either end would make an enormous difference.
Well, for someone as picky as me. It's not like these books are turning up with the covers hanging off, it's just the corner's aren't sharp.

DC Partworks GN series just dropped off Batman: The Doom That Came to Gotham - a mashup of Lovecraft and Batman written by Mike Mignola. Really enjoyed it and The Nail by Alan Davis - which is of course absolutely beautiful and a damn good read.
