The bizarre horror of the Swarm and a battle with Morbius, the Living Vampire, do little to help. Then, the emergence of the Schizoid Man pushes him over the line. And on the other side is the Spider-Lizard! Can our mutated hero survive? He'd better, or he won't be able to team up with the FF against the Frightful Four!

Trade of the Year? Non Epic has to be X-Men Starjammers FINALLY collecting a bunch of stories that should have been in a colour paperback years ago. Honourable mention to The Incredible Hercules Complete Collection v1 which I'd been waiting for. EPICS: Here's the Epic list if you need it to help. tmukhub.proboards.com/post/343054/threadBoth the X-Men Epics were fab: v4 It's Always Darkest Before the Dawn and v17 Dissolution and Rebirth. Amazing Spider-Man v19 Assassin Nation completed McFarlane ASM and gave ASM a run of 6 consecutive Epics. New Mutants v2 Demon Bear was good, but had all been done in colour before. The rest of the year was a bit meh till the last few weeks when we got X-Factor v8 X-Aminations, to finish the Peter David run, Power Man & Iron Fist v3 Doombringer, which resurrects the series which had been on hold since 2016, finally reprints the superb 100 in colour and takes the series beyond where the Essential PMIF got to and Defenders v9 The End Of All Songs which completes New Defenders and is all new reprints. But I think the winner is the the same Epic series as last year: Star Wars Legends The Original Marvel Years v4 (Star Wars 56-73 & Annual 2 - www.mikesamazingworld.com/mikes/features/series.php?seriesid=4470&page=gallery) The Michelene/Simonson run is finishes up with the Bespin & Skia Brie stories and thn Jo Duffy picks up with hunting down Boba Fett's associates. SUPERB stuff, a childhood favourite that the older I get I increasingly realise absolutely top notch

The post itself instils the belief he his safe ..... And then adds that small uncertainty of doubt that will nag away for months. It is a perfectly crafted thing of beauty.

Besides he has all a large clump of the original run from the 70's already... Did we get him the Complete Collections? No, I was visiting Dave Wallace last year and he had somehow fallen heir to a chunk of Howard. He is a DC fan so had little use for them. Passed them on to me as I said Ralph would love them. In hindsight I regret passing them on. Should have kept them myself.
