There was the limited repaint of Grimlock to the comic colours and they do like to reuse molds as much as possible.
Also, it's likely if Hasbro do a release the paint apps shall be different, although if there's one figure they won't release, it's this one.

What I find the most interesting from those pictures is that the Star Saber helmet appears to detach from the clamp on his back. Whilst this makes some sense, considering that it has to go over Saber's head and still be articulated, it's also a little off-putting. That's probably mostly due to the fact that I've been fiddling with Guardian all afternoon, and I'm consequently very wary of any sort of parts forming. But, I still love that toy and have no regrets over buying it, so I imagine that I'll end up feeling the same way about Star Saber...

I guess that's because most original Star Sabers (including mine) have at least one shoulder gun broken. Nice move, Takara design people.
