I like the look of these, a bit more colour and fun to them. BB looks good, and the beast there is pushing some nostalgia buttons.
I shall resist though!

Some of these designs look appealing. I like how Bumblee looks in robot mode (he looks like a really imposing warrior).
That said, Producing is a complete failure, beyond the concept, name and colors. Prime is better than his previous incarnation, as I don't like long-nose trucks. But he looks garrish in vehicle mode, overloaded with silly looking weapons.
I too like the Sinnertwin homage and there may be some good Terrorcon throwbacks headed our way.
But my general view is that like Prime, this doesn't do it for me. In Prime, I didn't like the skinny arrish looks. I was intrigued by the obvious Gurren Lagann like robot designs. Just look at voyager Starscream's chest for instance...
I might be tempted to get a Prime toy for varieties sake, but don't hold your breath. I am squarely oldschool and will stick with G1/classics/FOC

Do what colour do others see Wildrider as? When the first pics were out he looked blue-ish, then last week there was a magazine scan that looked definitively grey (and dwrk grey at that) and from this photo I honestly can't tell! Colourblind in my old age?
I'm still keeping the preorder for the awesome elephant micron. Though I do think I preferred him in blue.

I like the idea of a new faction symbol, and it's better than the Inferno ant symbol the BW Predacons had, which was too species specific and no where as menacing as the Maximal symbol.
That said, they are not very appealing as beasts or robots. They are actually extremely bland and make me think of what TF would have been like if Hasbro had sold special team scramble city toys without the ability to combine.
The scramble city toys are way more simplistic than diaclone, and would have been a step down but were saved by being able to combine.
These are a step down from Transmetals ... but don't combine. Too bad...

Is that a unique Smokescreen mold?

Wow! The extra colour really improves the mould. And only £13 each!

Rant mode innitiated.
How many "Roadbuster inspired" colorschemes do we really need? Next to the black repaint, this is the most common repaint trope out there. It wouldn't be so bad if it weren't such a friggin' boring and ugly scheme. Worse, when you make a brand new mold of a character, why the eff jump straight to the "repaint" instead of presenting the character in his regular colors? This is as dumb as the time when Hasbro addressed everyone's problems with BM Cheetor, and made a new, more show accurare mold (Nightslash), then for no reason at all released him IN BLACK, instead of cheetor colors! Seriously, what is the point?
Well... Hasbro's been making a lot of extremely idiotic moves that make virtually no sense lately (FoC Bakuwave, Plus TWO repaints of the same mold within two waves, one of them the most pointless same character black repaint within the same wave as Soundwave? Who doesn't even make sense in a prequel setting? Dumbest idea ever.)
Rant mode disengaged.

How many other Roadbusters have there been? I like the modified commander version of this which we saw in those colours some time ago. I assume that's his show look for this season so that's the colours his toys will be in.... .... Thought you could bet on a green reprint. BTW Hasbro..... Still waiting on my yellow Night Slash Cheetor.

I don't know how many toys got the Roadbuster treatment off hand, but there's that Cyberverse commander Bulkhead, Animated Ultra Magnus, Botcon Landshark, the repaint of the RotF snowplow Scout (Fireshot? ( Firetrap - Phil)), and Universe 2.0 "War Within" Roadbuster (The one that's the repaint of CD Hotshot). So there's 6 just off the top of my head (Counting this one), all within just a couple years. I know there's a few others. Roadbuster is one of the most popular G1 characters for Hasbro to homage. Really strange since there are still really popular G1 characters we can't get an homage to, to save our lives. Yet this one hideous deco homaging a really nobody character keeps turning up time and again.

Landshark is supposed to be a completely new character and Firetrap actually a Brawn homage - using similar colours doesn't necessarily constitute an homage, especially as in both those cases the proportions of green to orange/ochre are quite different as are the layouts. Finding a colour combination overused is quite understandable though.
