I can't figure out if the fact this is a model kit makes this less or more desirable to me.
Do we think the figure in the pics has been ink washed post assembly to give depth to those detail lines? It surely won't come like that in the sprues?

It surely won't come like that in the sprues? Probably done with fine-line water-based markers, the same way that Gunpla are panel-lined. Apply a fine-nibbed black marker in the bottom of the inscribed panel lines and it makes them pop very sharply. The price at Kapow isn't too bad really. Domestic retail seems to be equivalent to around the £62.00 mark, allowing for Kapow needing to make a bit of profit on it, and having shipping costs to cover that isn't too far off the mark really. Never occurred to me that they might carry it mind you - never noticed them carrying the Moderoid kits much before now. I'll admit to being tempted by this - it is a classic Super Robot, and the Moderoid line does have a really good rep. A shame it hadn't come out the year before or after there were all these Witch from Mercury Gunpla I want to build. :-( Karl |

I bought some of their Trap Door figures and Grotbags. They look fine in pictures but in-hand the quality was shockingly poor so I got shot of them. Never again!
