Pity they will be so hard to get, HLJ currently have 1 kabaya kit for sale - not Transformers, nothing for pre-order.
I'm not brave enough to try and order from a site in Japan or pay over the odds for trans pacific then trans atlantic shipping.

Has anyone bought the recent Kabaya kits?
I've been previously put off these when I saw a youtube review of Magnus, Prime and Star Saber a while back. The figures were really bad. Perhaps things have stepped up since.
The Special Teams look great. And they would go really well Fort Max or modern Metroplex. Just thinking of stocking fillers for the nephews.
Onslaught's missing his chestplate.

It really is tiresome when multiple 3rd party things based on the same original toys come out at the same time. See also the three 3rd party Predakings coming out as the original official toy is re-released.
One of two outrageously overpriced Overlords or a cheap official Kabaya one? Tough choice!

It was difficult. Took me a long time, but I eventually settled on Mastermind Collectables.
The Kabaya set sounds fabby-do, too.

I hadn't paid much attention to Kabaya Fortmax and didn't realise how large it was. If Overlord is same size but with better proportions it'll look good mixed in with classics or G1.

The Kabaya Overlord and Road Caesar do look rather nice (probably the only Road Caesar I will be able to afford to buy for the forseeable future...). The Train Prime is quite fun - you can tell this one was very much designed for the domestic market and it is quite nice to see a no-holds barred super-robotish Prime.
