Has Roy Wood ever sang "I wish it could be christmas every day" live on christmas day? I expect if a new recording of it was broadcast that he pre-recorded it.

Reading the news physically jolted me. Proper gut punch.
And then my facebook feed was briefly alternating between Stan Lee and Detective Pikachu which is a confusing mix of emotions.
It makes me sad that the last few months or year of his life seems to have been so screwed up, but then the 94 years before that generally seem to have been good. So I dont know.

It's not at all surprising, but it's still a shock. He was 95. You know it's gonna happen at any time now, but when it does it still feels out of the blue. And then my facebook feed was briefly alternating between Stan Lee and Detective Pikachu which is a confusing mix of emotions. Same with my tumblr feed. It's like pairing My Neighbor Totoro with Grave of the Fireflies.

Oh, damn it. In so many ways he was a driving force in creating superhero comics as we know them. We have lost one of the elder statesmen.

Gutted.
An absolute legend, and not just for the characters he created and co-created, but I think many of his columns in Stan's Soapbox where essential in shaping many hearts and minds.
RIP.
You will be missed, and fondly remembered.

This does not include what may have already been filmed but unreleased (Captain Marvel, Avengers 4), but I believe his last living cameo was in Teen Titans Go! to the Movies
That kind of amuses me
