Yeah, I also think we'll get an Overlord. From Sentinel Prime. (Because, why not?) Ugh.

I can sort of see it from the robot mode but not either of the others. At Voyager size he's also a bit small.
I'm sure if he hadn't had the shoulder problems Blitzwing would have been redone as Overlord a few years back.
Blitzwing did get redone as Doubledealer, another possible if you're doing Head/Power masters.
I wonder if we could see Doubledealer as a double Headmaster? One head for Autobot, one for Decepticon? Or, similarly, Armada Sideways/Doubleface?

Isn't that the point of the TR Headmasters, anyway? The bodies are just transtectors? So it's all up to which head is piloting it...

I think Rodimus Prime will happen in the follow-up series, not TR. The "trilogy" is called the Prime Wars, or something, right? Yet so far there is literally NO justification for that title. Which, as I've said before, leads me to believe tge followup will be all about the Primes. The 13, Rodimus, Optimus, Nova, Nemesis, any other Prime you can think of.
I think we may see Hotrod, but not Rodimus. Though I hope not. I'm already tired of the headmaster gimmick. It's literally my least favorite G1 gimmick.

I think the bird has flown on this one but I wonder if a Jetfire retool of Silverbolt might be possible?
Change the jet mode for swing wings. Have the combined mode be the reverse of Silverbolt's combined torso with the wings facing front and pointing up and out to the sides at the top. Cockpit folds up and onto the chest while still pointing down, like it does on Leader Jetfire.
Easy reuse as Leozak.

I want the CW Leader Starscream mould recoloured again, but not as Acid Storm or Sunstorm or Generic Seeker 57, but as Starscream in his G1 body but in his Machine Wars colours. That would be amazing.

I might would consider purchasing that overpriced ripoff of a mold if it were done as Underbase Starscream.

Two linked platinum sets:
Set One: •Shadow Striker- Deadend, with a new head, and Dustup's chest •Roulette- Streetwise, same new head, Dustup's chest •Sideswipe (OTFCC)- Breakdown, new head and chest •Megazarak (OTFCC)- Brawl •Razorclaw (Universe)- Skylynx •Bonus- Additional new sideswipe head in Sunstreaker colors, to swap out on CW Sunstreaker
Set Two: •Optimus Primal- Titans Return Optimus Prime, done as Nucleon Quest Convoy, with head robot decoed after Universe Primal
Story- As the Multi-Universe War ground to a halt, Unicron found himself on the losing side. Before the agents of Primus could bring everything crashing down around him, he forged his essence into an new Matrix, to mock Primus' Creation Matrix. He forged the Anti-Matrix, and bestowed it into the body of his General, Razorclaw, granting him new life as the avatar of Unicron, as well as the ability to travel through the negative void that exists between Universes.
The newly revived and reformatted Razorclaw subjugated several warriors, forcing them to combine with him, and made his escape into a new Universe. His goal, to find this Unicron, and insert the Anti-Matrix into him so that the fallen Unicron may take over his body and live again.
But in great adversity, a hero rises once more. Optimus Primal cannot allow Unicron to play havoc on the multiverse any more than he already has. A special Transtector is constructed through Project Ginrai, and coated with a Nucleon enhanced alloy, allowing it to also traverse the negative void between universes, and access them through black holes. Primal himself is reformatted to combine with the new transtector, and sets off. Razorclaw must be stopped, no matter the cost.

Let me float an idea that's been rattling around in my head:
Titans Return Leader Perceptor.
The RTS version hasn't aged well and doesn't have a Microscope mode. TR has been willing to do non vehicle modes for their leaders. Perceptor has a third mode, a cannon, which would adapt well to being a base and he'd pair nicely with Leader Blaster.

There's 8 Diaclone Car Autobots that have been done already. 10 remain. As the cores Inferno from Hotspot Grapple remoulded from Hotspot As the limbs Sideswipe from Breakdown, preferably with a flip the bonnet over the head to become the chest remould. Red Alert from Breakdown, ditto Jazz from Dead End, ditto Bluestreak from Dead End, ditto Hoist from Off Road, new equipment on Flatbed Tracks from the Wheeljack remould of Breakdown Ratchet from First Aid Skids from First Aid I'd also like to see a Kup from Off Road. I want to see Sixwing from Superion, possibly using Decepticon jets Starscream from Cyclonus. A RID set: Optimus Prime from Hotspot Prowl from Breakdown Sideburn from Dead End X-Brawn from First Aid Skid-Z from Dead End G2 Onslaught RID Ruination New stuff: A Hot Rod body core which you can attach limbs to to form Rodimus Prime A Megatron body core which you can attach limbs to to form Galvatron A white Prime with a Red shield that attaches to the chest in combined mode with a new combined head as Ultra Magnus A proper black Nemesis Prime/Scourge. Grand Scourge is good, but too gaudy (and obviously all the combiners they haven't done!) This is what I was talking about in the other thread. So if you could have one Diaclone car boxset now, who would you want in it? Boxset rules apply, so you can have minor mould changes as well as a new head. I'd have Inferno from Hot Spot with minor remoulding to get the robot looking right. Then Ratchet from First Aid, Sideswipe from Breakdown with Phil's reversed chest idea, Bluestreak from Dead End with a new roof and rear to get that right, then Hoist from Off Road. No more mould changes there than Victorion had. I'm interested to see what changes the Computron deluxes will have.

Having had a long, hard think about it in the shower (quiet at the back), I'd have:
Sideswipe from Breakdown Ratchet (revised MTMTE-style) from Rook Brawn from Ironhide Lone Twist from Nosecone (just to get some Jumpstarter representation in there) Grimlock from Sky Lynx
Because none of that is obvious or makes sense. :-)
But I'm still missing Ratchet. Dammit. Maybe Ratchet from Hotspot, as a multi-purpose rescue vehicle..? I'm just trying to go as left-field as I can here. Clearly.
Edit: Ha. And I see from the Unite Warriors thread that other people have Jumpstarters on their mind, also. That was, I can assure you, completely coincidental.

Hmmmmmm. I'm gonna keep my one box set as simple and realistic as I can. It the desperate hope it'll become REAL. Direct repaints with new heads.
Jazz from Deadend.
Ratchet from Ironhide.
Sideswipe from Breakdown.
errrr
Brawn from Rook might be fun.
And as their core the obvious Inferno from Hotspot.
3 Strike Planes from AirRaid, Soundwave from perhaps Rook again, and NEW MOLD TANK MEGATRON core is out of the question.
But I'd be happy with just Jazz and Ratchet.

I'm of the mind that the Combaticons and Protectobots can be done with three new molds. Hotspot- new mold First Aid- Offroad Blades- Alpha Bravo Streetwise- Dead End Groove- New Mold Onslaught- heavy retool of hotspot Swindle- Offroad Vortex- Alpha Bravo Blastoff- one of the jets Brawl- new mold Boy, aside from Rook and Swindle, I nailed this one.

You know what I'd like? Hand Foot Gun sets for the torsos without specific limbs.
Blue ones for Red Optimus, same moulds as Autobot team 1/wave 4. Purple ones for Galvatronus, better make them the 4 Aerialbots to differentiate them from the Stunticons White ones for Superion because G1. Gold ones for Nemesis Prime. Red ones for Scattershot.

Absolutely. I really wouldn't mind if they ditched the need for each to be multi-purpose and they made separate hands and feet (as appears to be the case for Victorion and Computron) so they actually *look* like hands and feet. The only thing that lets the whole CW range down is the crap feet. They need ankle rockers!

I may be on my own here but I prefer the HFGs. They serve a purpose in all modes.

Yes, the benefit they have is that they fit the transforming theme of Transformers. That bit is good. But unfortunately that also restricts the feet to being not very good and they really limit posability because they can't be angled. Fortunately the Nonnef ones fix that, even if they are a bit rough round the edges.

So, as a pet project, I've been working on compiling the ultimate Pre-Beast repaint wishlist. I'm trying to get every beast era character I can (including new Universe, Robotmasters and Telemocha characters), or general updates (in the case of BWII vehicle predacons).
Now, I'm not wanting to force something just for the sake of doing it, meaning if there's nothing (yet) that works for a character, then I'd rather wait until there is one. That said, there are a fair few that have decent enough choices, that I've just not gotten around to. Anyone care to give a hand? Still working on these guys:
Maximals- Optimus Primal Rhinox Silverbolt Depth Charge Snarl Tasmania Kid Bound Rogue Grimlock (nuRiD voyager Grimlock in G1 or BW colors?) Ironhide Prowl (magnaboss) Silverbolt (magnaboss) Airhammer Noctoro Bantor Stinkbomb Nightglider Prowl (tm2) Jawbreaker Windrazor Bighorn Diver Bigmos Mantis Scissor Boy DJ Motorarm Gimlet Skywarp Longrack Stampy Heinrad Longhorn (bull) Geckobot Quickstrike (wolf) Snarl (lion) T-Wrecks Triceradon Striker Apelinq Battle Unicorn Frostbite
Predacons- Scorponok (uw nosecone?) Inferno Powerpinch Jetstorm Manterror Cicadacon Ramhorn Seaclamp Terragator Buzzclaw Sky Shadow Injector Antagony Vicegrip Scarem Sandstorm Galvatron Starscream Thrust Dirge Guildart Killer Punch Saberback Archadis Sling Hydra Crazybolt Volfang Razorclaw (universe)
Mutants- Razorclaw Poisonbite Soundwave

Here's my master list so far.
I'm particularly proud of Cohrada from Astrotrain. The chest fan, shoulder pads, and wings all make a cohesive poncho, if painted right. And them there's the snake-like bullet train mode. I'm also using different molds to represent some of the BWII guys that are virtually identical to the american releases. Also, sometimes to just break up the monotony of having three or four of the same vehicle molds to represent the same beast mold and their repaints. And sometimes more than one mold works really well as a prebeast for one beast mold.
I've still got these guys left, though:

As if this task I gave myself wasn't bad enough, I went through the wiki and found as many non-toy characters as I could, as well as some I've forgotten about. I ended up adding 44 more characters to my roster.

So, while a lot of TR is great, I feel there's a lot of missed opportunities by hasbro's continual exclusive focus on G1, becayse I thibk from what we've seen, the Unicron Trilogy would fit beautifully with this line. Better than some of the shoehorns we've heard about.
It seems every range in this line *must* be compatible with the Titanmasters, as evident by Wheelie. (Or at least become a brick for blaster/soundwave)
Titanmasters Sparkplug- Robot is sparkplug nod, head is Armada Optimus super mode, cones with a car vehicle
Legends physically too small to be headmasters, they seem to need to be vehicles. Brakedown- could work as a heavy remold of Wheelie Demolishor- instead of a vehicle, he becomes a TM gun turret, the second mode of his original toy. His tank in this toy becomes secondary. Hardtop, Clocker, and Scrapmetal would all make interesting vehicles wheelie-like for Titanmasters
Deluxes Wheeljack- either a repaint or remold of Chromedome, or a new mold with a G1 Sideswipe repaint. Sideways- dude's already a real headmaster! He deserves to be included more than any g1 non-headmasters. Plus, double headmaster double agent has never really been explored. Red Alert- sorta feel armada red alert deserves a new toy. IDW suv Prowl works as the retool. Override- She also deserves to not be forgotten. And she's a perfect TR design. Her Titanmaster could be a nod to Lori. Thunderblast- because Thunderblast. Either retool of Scourge, or new mold that's retooled/shared with E-Mirage.
Voyager Scavenger- because Scavenger.
Leader Overload- also a bonafide headmaster. Rework and mashup of UM and PMOP. Ultra Magnus body, Optimus' cab section. Include a tm vehicle for Rollout titanmaster. Menasor- would just be a neat design to revisit. Reinterpret his minicon as a titanmaster.
Titans Omega Supreme- ALSO a bonafide headmaster. Triple G1/Energon/Animated homage. Alt mode is an ark-like spaceship. Base mode is a g1-like fortress, or Spacebridge. Robot mode is a headmaster. Head becomes a Titanmaster tank instead of a robot. Unicron- Planet, city, robot. Head becomes "space station," and a TM spaceship.
