So I put together Thunder Mayhem fir the first time this afternoon, and realized TR PM Optimus was sitting right next to me.
And looking at their approximate size, with Thunder's veeeeeeery Geoff Senior's head, I realized...

Now one of the favourites, Bat Optimus Primal, has fallen at the first hurdle does anyone have any repaint suggestions for the existing Titans Returns toys?
Megatron Croc seems unlikely but one of them, packed with a red Crashbash as TM2 Megatron's dragon, or lilac, as ultra Megatron would have been a good bet but the packed in Megatron head seems to put the lid on that one.
A black Onyx Primal/Nemesis Bat Convoy wouldn't be the worst idea. Neither would a Red bat or Purple crocodile.
I'd love to see them go the full set of Optimus repaints on Sentinel Prime: A red & blue Optimus, white Magnus and black Nemesis Prime.
Following the Beast Wars theme Weirdwolf as Wolfang.
Hardhead & Highbrow as Strika & Obsidian ?

If you're talking only BW, I kinda don't like using TR because of the headmaster gimmick.
Not that I like using them for anything else, either (I'd much rather have Headmasters updated as non-headmasters, than headmasters or anything else as headmasters).

I'm starting to think Blurr might be the new Universe Cyclonus. The one who looks really character specific, but is actually surprising how versatile it can be, yet how it's used is quite unimpressive.
He sucks pretty bad as Brainstorm, and I really hope the Nautica remold rumors are false because I think he'll suck as that, too.
But I think there's quite a bit he'll work for.
Override- Remold the arms, nose/shield, and lower legs, and a new titanmaster based on Lori and I think it'd be pretty amazing.
Arcee- less work than Override, but I think would also work really well.
Cheetor- basically would only need a new titanmaster. For more fun, I think it could be remolded into a nod to the Transtech design.

It's sad that we are so painfully close to having a workable CW Prime Force.
The Chopper from Alpha Bravo and the drill from UW Nosecone are obvious.
Harder is the sub, but I think that UW Strafe/Blastoff could be passable with some clever tooling.
But there's nothing that could pass as a fire engine.

So while trying to figure out plausible Cybertron repaints from TR, I hit an idea for CW molds I like.
"Fall of a Maximus."
Energon says that there were once two autobots and two decepticon combiners, until the decepticons teamed up and killed one of them. Now Bruticus Maximus is the only Energon combiner that can be updated, Because Superion Maximus would be lacking anything close to an A-10, and Constructicon Maximus would be lacking EVERYONE.
Bruticus Maximus:
Barricade- Onslaught
Stormcloud & Blackout- Alpha Bravo
Kickback & Blight- UW Nosecone (without the drill)
Vehicon Maximus:
Long Haul- Motormaster, in... idk, blue?
Ratchet- First Aid with Ratchet head, in movie deco
Hatchet- FA w/Ratchet head, in red fire truck deco
Run Down- Mirage in idk... MW Mirage deco?
Get-Up- Mirage in idk... MW Prowl deco?

It's been pointed out to me that Hasbro named the unnamed guy in their fanon Ask Vector Prime facebook thingy, and named him Dauntless Maximus.
Looking him up, shows that Energon, in another fit of extra Energonness, just stupidly reused Superion Maximus's animation model with NO alterations. You know, instead of just not showing him.
Well, I like Vehicon Maximus better than either of these. It fits what Hasbro would have done back then, toy wise. Not the deco homages, but at least in overall theme. They had jets, military, and construction. If they had done a fourth, they would have chosen cars or beasts. Vehicon Maximus, I also feel is exactly the sort of name they would choose.
As for Dauntless Maximus, that brings to mind sea vessels, spaceships, or military.
Military would be stepping all over BrutMax's theme. Spaceships would honestly be too close to SupMax.
Sea vessels could be interesting.
However, from CW molds, Sea craft are impossible, while military is stepping all over BrutMax's toes, and using the same molds pretty much. While using Airraid and Brawl or Swindle, we could make the limbs different enough, but there's no other torso that fits a military theme outside of Onslaught. Just feels redundant with all the Bruticuses, Ruination, and the earlier Bruticus Maximus.
But even if there was a possible CW Superion Maximus, I think we could pull off a visually distinct Spaceship Dauntless Maximus:
Torso- Skylynx
Limb 1 & 2- UW Blastoff
Limb 3 & 4- CW Strafe

You know, Classics is really starting to wind down. There's very few A-listers that haven't been done (and all but Rodimus Prime, Shockwave, and the Dinobots seem to be on the short list), and Hasbro's dipping into the D-list, and is well into redo territory.
I mean, Black Shadow is being redone, and he's as big a nobody as nobodies get in western media.
So, it would be kinda nice after PotP comes to an end, for the current classics/Generations line to come to a hard stop, and switch to a new track, and a new scale.
Honestly, DOTM presented another hard stop, and would have been ideal for this kind of restructure.
What we're seeing currently is Hasbro cheaping out, in order to keep prices down. Cutting back on paint apps, lower quality plastic, looooots of cheating in engineering to cut back on movable parts. And these seem to also be the biggest criticisms TF faces.
So I think with the current classics line coming close to being complete, and a lot of major characters having been unavailable for years, it would be a good point to have a hard restart focusing on different size classes.
Basic- Pretty much Legends with a more appropriate name that makes sense. Focusing on smaller characters like Bumblebee, Rattrap, as it seems to be doing. $10/£8
Scout- Reintroducing the Scout class, and pretty much as it was during RotF. The new focus of the line, this would be doing what the deluxe is now. Where characters like Kup, Prowl, Jazz, and Cheetor would go. $12-15/£10-12
Deluxe- Would be returned to what it was before DotM. A bit bigger, greater complexity, and a price hike. Sorta akin to the oldschool Megas. Not as prominent as they are currently. Focuses on the larger "normal" bots, like Slag, Snarl, Optimus Prime and Megatron. $18-20/£14-16
Voyagers, Leaders- Far less prominent than they currently are. Maybe a couple each a year. Focuses on really big guys that don't really need titan class, like Scorponok & Sludge (voyagers), and Skylynx & Blackout (leader).
