They'll go with G1 colours Soundwave. For some reason. I don't know why. But probably just so we don't ever get any of the repaints that would be cool.

Okay so since Beast Wars are officially on the table, I spent hours assigning modern size classes to every beast era character because of Reasons™
No one wants to see that list so I won't bother anyone with it. But I realized two things-
One is there are a TON of battlemasters in the beast era. BM Deployers, Scorponok's cyberbee and it's two repaints, Polarclaw's bt and it's two repaints, the four McDonald's guys, and Moon.
The other is that if you play with the sizes of non-important characters, a ton of characters can be retooled into others you wouldn't think of. A deluxe B'Boom retools well into Optimus Minor. Bonecrusher can reshell into BM Longhorn. That sort of thing.

The only way I would be excited for another G1 Starscream or G1 Optimus mold is if they do something new. (By G1, I mean the Sunbow/Marvel character model)
In Starscream's case, it needs to have three configurations. 1) Standard classic Starscream 2) Conehead retool which does as you would expect (including being able to have the Starscream wings on the leg mounts) 3) And a Leader 1 retool that turns 180 at the waist while folding down the shoulder intakes, and mounting the Starscream wings on the leg like the coneheads.
For Optimus, it would be much like Siege and ER, but with him being designed to combine Unicron Trilogy style with multiple transformers like Jetfire and Grimlock.

Transformers: The Lost KnightsA new non-g1 continuity. Borrows more strongly from Bayverse. Three factions. Autobots, Decepticons, and Dinobots. (Hidden behind spoiler for length) Story Long ago the Knights of Cybertron were sent out into the Universe to hunt down and destroy Unicron and his minions. They were amongst the most powerful cybertronians of all. They did not come back.
Cybertron descends into civil war, egged on in secret by Quintessa. Eons pass, and the war finds it's way to Earth. The lost Knights have been discovered, and begin awakening on Earth. Now nicknamed Dinobots.
Having spent countless millennia bathed in Unicron's Primal Energon, the "Dinobots" reawaken, having lost all sense of self. Autobots and Decepticons both struggle to get the Dinobots on their side. They must first capture the Dinobot, then reawaken the Cybertronian within. The Autobots choose more peaceful routes, the decepticons often resorting to force, by installing BW style shell programming.
Themes The line would last one and a half, to two years.
Dinobots are technorganic and scientifically accurate. Decepticons carry a Mad Max/Poacher hybrid theme. Autobots hold a exploration/conservationist/environmentalist theme.
Megatron is very much a straight up adaptation of his DotM design, but there's more than a smattering of BW personality in there. He's much more crafty than most Megatrons. Bumblebee takes his alt mode inspiration from the Captain Planet geocruiser.
Lots of girl TFs! (Can't transfer which from my notes without wrecking the flow of the list. But happy to add on if asked) I don't really intend there to be three Titans and three Commanders in a two year period. Just that all three factions have an option.

Imagined making what..? ;-)
I like the amount of effort you put into that, and it's a great idea. The Optimus idea would be a great playset/figure combination.

The discussion about Kingdom Dinobot and Megatron set this in motion. I have ideas for the follow up which would go full into Quintessa and her minions, and perhaps introduce a few Pleistocene animals, but need a break before deciding if I really wannna go into that, lol. I'm proud of a couple of these! Particularly a few of the Selects sets. A few others (like Riptide), I'm more ambivalent towards.

For some of the names you may not recognize: (Hidden behind spoiler for length) Tupandactylus Nyctosaurus Aerotitan Therizinosaur Nasutoceratops Europasaurus (this model is supposedly full sized) Dilophosaurus (2020) Majungasaurus's searches are ruined by pop culture because of course cannibal theropod, so it's really hard to find good images in the public domain. But it's a medium/small very ugly theropod. Heliocopreon Kronosaurus Spinosaurus (2020) Hatzegopteryx

Since Bluestreak has three canon decoes, while hasbro is hellbent on only ever doing the ugliest of the three, and Hasbro now seems to be on the "unused diaclone decoes= new characters" bandwagon, we need a new Gen Selects Diaclone Twopack:
Silverstreak and Cobalt Twin repaints of Bluestreak
· Silverstreak- silver toy deco. Silverstreak is always getting confused with Bluestreak · Cobalt- blue diaclone deco. Was not part of the original Ark mission, but for some reason everyone seems to think she was, and even some other Arkers even seem to remember her being there.

A dull Warm Gray with a Flat Black hood and roof. To me it makes him look like a beat up clunker with primer instead of actual paint. The only thing that helps is the red robot parts.
It's still boring, but at least a shiny metallic silver to replace the primer colors would make him look like the restoration is complete.

Yes!
And a mold for the Party Wagon could then also be retooled into the Mystery Machine and A-Team van somehow. Would also love to see a Star Trek Transformer after all this time.

I've thought really really hard on a Trek crossover toy, and they all would require brand new molds, except one-
Siege Ironhide heavy retool into the TNG, ST:V, or reboot Movie shuttle.
While I'd love that, I don't think that's a strong enough vehicle to get them to do it.

Evolution of Amazon's Galactic Odyssey subline- The Axiom Nexus: Because while Hasbro is generally laser focused on doing Sunbow G1 homages over and over again, Axiom Nexus will be "Parallel Reality" repaints.
All in their Marvel Colors:
· Bumblebee vs Starscream- Netflix Bumblebee in Yellow and Blue, and ER Starscream in off white, bright red, and dark blue
· Prowl vs Soundwave- Netflix Soundwave in lavender, and ER Prowl in white and blue
· Ratchet vs Megatron- ER Ratchet and ER Megatron with their properly colored heads!
· Carwash of Doom!- Selects Greasepit as the carwash, with Siege Ratbat & Frenzy, and Netflix Laserbeak & Ravage in their marvel colors
· King Grimlock- Studio 86 Grimlock with yellow, and blue. Dropping Wheelie in place of a sword and crown.

Okay so. Hasbro owns Wizards of the Coast, so they own D&D. And they're always looking for little gimmick D&D crossovers.
So why not a full line of D&D/TF crossovers? Between new molds, retools, and clever repaints, six releases a year. Redesign transformers with specific D&D character tropes in mind. Each one comes with a character sheet to play in a game.
Galvatron as the King, and the central campaign villain. Cyclonus as his Dark Knight Scourge as his visier, an evil Wizard.
Grimlock redesigned with a warforged Orc in mind Bumblebee as a halfling thief Brawn as a dwarf Blurr as an elven archer Optimus as a Paladin
Retooled or retainted monsters- Kingdom Optimus Primal as a yeti (heavy retool, plus new head based on mutant mask) Kingdom Blackarachnia repaint as a spider witch Fossilizer multipack as generic skeleton monsters
That sort of stuff.

So Kingdom Megatron's beast mode parts are made from or plated with textured rubbery PVC material.
I realized how to do pretender updates. Similar to RotF Bludgeon and Generations Skullgrin, go from shell to vehicle. Similar, but not quite. Those were just robots inspired by their shells.
These would be transformers trying to pass as humans or aliens/monsters, wearing armor. So the best traditional TFs have the robots made of alt mode bits in decorative ways. These would be trying to make the alt mode not obvious. Hide the alt mode instead of hide the robot.
The alt mode is a mobility tool or weapon, while the disguise is the robot mode. Cockpits, wheels, wings, cannons, if they cant fold away inside the robot mode, then they're removed and used as weapons, or are mounted in ways that approximates some worn weapon. Think the ultra pretenders like Vroom and Thunderwing. Only for all of them, with no "inner robot" All organic parts are made from or plated with the same kind of textured rubberish PVC the Megatron uses.

I like that idea. The alternative, as inspired by someone else in a conversation I was having on Twitter, is to use Weaponisers for updated Pretender inner robots. The benefit to this is that since they come apart anyway, you could have them disassembled in the shell, which would allow the parts to be spread across various parts of the shell - limbs, etc - and thus allow for a fully articulated shell for once.

SS86 Blurr- Prebeast Manterror Slender robot mode, arm kibble is very mantid.
SS86 Kup- Prebeast Waspinator Same basic shapes and layouts in robot mode, plus removable limbs. Also, nothing ever said he was a flier before taking a beast mode, and with TFA Wasp, he has precedent.

Transformers Collaboration
Transformers vs Evil Dead
Hotrod loses the Matrix to Bludgeon. Rather than telling anyone about it, he tracks Bludgeon to Earth, though the decepticon has gone to ground.
He tracks an energon signature to a little town in the ass end of nowhere, but ends up losing it.
Meanwhile, Ash Williams meets a hot little thing named Alice, who's more that merts the eye. She manages to steal the Necronomicon from him, and takes it to her master, Bludgeon. Bludgeon combines the Necronomicon with the energies of the Matrix, and takes command of the Deadites, and all the evil contained in those pages. With the lifeforce of Primus corrupted, the Deadites have powers they never had before. Able to possess objects and convert them into twisted imitations of cybertronian life. Can Hotrod and Ash get over their egos and work together?
Toys: · Boomstick- the signature piece. Ash's beloved Delta possessed by a deadite, and reformed into a twisted robot copy of Ash, though later is purified by Hotrod and blessed with a spark of his own. There are a few options. -Heavy retool of Studio Series SS-01 '76 Camaro Bumblebee -Retool of Cybertron Downshift -Heavy retool of ER Runamuck
· Hotrod- SS86 Hotrod. Could be anywhere from a straight unchanged repurpose of the existing toy, to a repaint, to light retool, to heavy retool. -Heavy retool would be outright changing the vehicle mode to earth mode. -light retool would be to give it Evil Dead appropriate battle damage. -repaint would be bloodying him up
· Bluelight- Repaint of Gen Select Greasepit into the S-Mart come to life
· Bludgeon and the Necronomicon- Beast Hunters Shark Megatron with a new head and weapon. Bludgeon's final form, warped, enhanced, and twisted by the Necronomicon. The Necronomicon itself would be a retool of Botbot Professor Wellread.
· Deadites- A multipack of the Kingdom fossilizers as Bludgeon's Army of Darkness.
