So I got my set. I don't thinks its that bad in all fairness. I like shockwave because well he's an exclusive to this set only now.
The plastic feels cheaper than the other sets. I don't know if that's just me but meh.
Overall he looks decent. Could do with some extra paint apps here and there but...
Only thing I think is annoying

I wanted the 3 main combiners (apart from devy) posters to all match in my new house.

Liokaiser looks fab, v pleased with new heads. Would have liked the jets to be the same, preferably the one the blue one uses, buthey ho knew that wasn't the case from the artwork. They have done a really good job with that. The moulds work fairly well for most of them, and it does look spiffy in combined mode. The deco's are fantastic as well. All it really needs now is someone to custom a Deathcobra out of Alpha Bravo and they can have the option of a "pre-series" roster and a "series" roster. :-) Karl |

I really like the look of that set. I'll not be buying it - there's other stuff I need to blow my money on instead, like... er... Pretenders - but it's been really well done. And I'm just amazed that this has come out of Hasbro.

I think the question more is is it a Worldwide EE Exclusive, ie they're the only people you can buy it from, or a US EE Exclusive, in which case there will be supplies elsewhere.

I love the look of this fella, and being a Platinum he might have a nice paint job. I'm in for this for the novelty. Not passing on another bonkers combiner and regretting it afterwards.
Even if it's an exclusive it may come to retailers here. Brainstorm has.

The jets each have 2 guns, the sticker and poster are included, it's the same box form factor as the previous 5 combiners (NOT 5th panel window box), there are some gorrrrrgeous tampos on the vehicle modes, I'm quite fond of the new head sculpts up close, the colors knocked my socks off, and also I dig the new names.
