I dunno, if the cover date is on the comic telling when the next issue is out I can't see anything to moan about. Far better than the US comic system which operates on a 'we won't tell you when an issue comes out' system.

Oh there's plenty to moan about! Firstly they haven't come out today yet the Spiderman that normally comes out on the same day as them has! I could understand them skipping this week cos it contains a 53rd Thursday in 2015 to keep it at 13 of each title per year but they've still published Spiderman which means he's had 27 issues this year instead of 26. I would accept a 5 week gap between the titles IF the other "monthly" Panini collectors editions also had a 5 week gap.... but Avengers & Deadpool are out yet week and X-Men and MWOM, published a fortnight after Avengers & Wolverine usually, are out the very next week! It disrupts my routine tmukhub.proboards.com/thread/8317/routineIt offends my ASD pattern seeking behaviour! It means I have to make an extra trip to the shops one week!

I didn't look till yesterday as they're ALWAYS out every 4 weeks. Even if I had looked I would have assumed misprint! I would have emailed Panini sooner though!

Ad for Avengers Universe 21 in the new ASM. If the date is to be believed it comes off sale 27th Jan which would mean things are back to normal then.

Okay, so the next issue box in this month's Marvel Legends explains how they're going to catch Iron Man up. Seems like they're skipping issues 18-28 of the Marvel Now series and are starting on Superior Iron Man next month after Axis finishes in Avengers Universe this month. Which means missing The Iron Metropolitan and Rings of the Mandarin stories.
That irks me somewhat. I am no expert by any means but it seemed a bit of a jump to suddenly be on the Superior title. I suppose they have to do it if it ties into Axis, but at least as I've worked that out I can find those two missing stories to read in trades.
Trying to understand the continuities of the Marvel universe is such hard work when you're not native to it. It would be great if there was a website that tracked all the US books as something like a flowmap and showed the story titles and where they connect across books. Then I'd feel I knew what's what and not like I'm missing great swathes of stuff because I'm not constantly keeping up with Marvel news. Iron Man I know a bit about so I could see there is a jump, but the Cap and Thor stuff in Legends - I've no idea if I'm getting the full picture or whether they're cutting bits out of that too.

You'll need to keep an eye on how the numbers progress. Ask if there's a jump in the numbers or a new number 1!
I see THAT RETCON was in Avengers Universe this month. Grrrrr!
The major thing they've missed out is the entire runup to Secret Wars in Avengers. This WILL cause trouble.

When I dropped out of buying US Marvel comics regularly due to rising costs I found keeping up with general continuity suddenly became much harder unless I read comics news sites but I find most of them to be souless vapid click-bait puff sites so I gave up on them. It's one of the reasons why I switched to Panini UK newsstand. Not just because it is cheaper but at least it's all packaged up in an order for me that I can more easily follow. For other Marvel stuff I just can't afford trades very often so make do without whatever random oddments the library system gets in. I'm know Panini misses out some issues from the main stuff they carry but at least I can still get my regular Marvel fix! I've read Marvel since I was very ickle. It would feel wrong to stop completely.

I like the panini stuff for the same reasons as the Doc, neatly packaged and good value. I have quickly taken to Legends because the stories so far have been self contained and don't require prior knowledge. I suppose it helps they focus on one character. I struggle a bit with X-Men because even nearly 30 issues on from the last reboot the story seems heavily set in the history.
Course I still have over a decade's worth of essential X-Men in a long box needing time to read them, which would help.

You're taking it though, it's p!$$ poor. Can't stand it. Stick it in a cosmic marvel title with Guardians of the Galaxy so I don't have to read either.
They'll save the last few issues for closer Secret Wars.

Tis the best thing in Panini Marvel, Or excellence it means I have no need yo travel. Tis very amusing and fun indeed, This should be the Marvel creed.
Phil now has made me cry, He says no joy oh why oh why.
Shield is a bit pish, That must go it is my wish.

We've done some speculating about how Secret Wars will run in Panini. The answer is in a lot less titles than we thought!
Avengers Universe 22 says Avengers will carry the Secret Wars main title with additional crossovers in Spiderman, Mighty World of Marvel and Hulks.
As a result ALL The collectors editions will end up running closer to the US dates.
That's a few X crossovers, and possibly Avengers ones, that I'll need to get in TPB or the next sale.
The Female Thor debuts in Marvel Legends 19 next month.

I suspect Hulk will be chopped soon then going by the 'new number 1's after Secret Wars comments. I am close to dropping it when they run out of She-Hulk stories. The main Hulk stories have been poo since Waid left. Though not all Waid is good: Shield over in MWOM is just 20 pages of someone shouting: "LOOK! LOOK HOW SUPER AWESOME COULSON IS AND HOW HE IS BETTER THAN ANY OTHER MARVEL SUPERHERO EVER AND CAN DO ANYTHING WHILE NEVER BEING AT ANY RISK AND IS SUPER CLEVER AND EVERYONE IN THE WORLD RESPECTS HIM!!!!!!". It's irritating in the same way TF comics can be when they suddenly decide New Toy is Best Character Ever.
Waid DD is tops though!

I wonder if we'll get a few of the left field books in the new No.1's.
Pretty sure Guardians of the Galaxy will be in the mix.

I'm surprised it got nixed from MWOM so quick,
If Hulk goes down as we expect it to I suspect it's replacement will be a cosmic Marel book. GOTG, Silver Surfer and ?
We know Ms Marvel is coming soon to Panini.

Also, I see Legends is skipping Thor God of Thunder 18-25 to start the next volume with the female one next issue. Something else I'll have to find elsewhere.
