So having just read Superior Iron Man #1 in this month's Legends - what the chuffing heck happened to Tony Stark in Axis that turned him into a total turd? The Red Xavier/Onslaught/Skull inverted things so heroes became villains and villains became heroes. Andy |

Yes, I missed the start or I'd have picked it up. I might start on Avengers Universe to read Secret Wars. I wish Panini sold back issues like Titan do. EBay is hit and miss on quality.

Started badly, got a lot better as it went on I thought. The Heroes as Villains/Villains as Heroes bit later was good. There's two VERY good Avengers World tie in issues featuring Doom and Valeria which are worth a read.

Came across an auction for Avengers Universe 16-21 that was too cheap to miss, so for a fiver I've filled in the back issues that cover Axis up to this month. Which I guess means I'm now up to three regular Panini books with Legends and X-Men. I knew starting to actually read these things would be dangerous.

I was heading that way to read Secret Wars, but six issues for a fiver was too good to pass up, especially when they were exactly the ones I needed to get the back story on why Stark's now a wanker.

essential x men seems to have dragged the current story out for sooo many issues, sometimes they'll print 3-4 in a booklet then other just one per book and it takes an age!

i only get essential xmen and wolverine and deadpool from these, both arent due for a week or two i think. i also get 2 batman ones from titan, anyone else? I actually subscribed to all 4 then i don't have to go to a newsagents  |

No. Thor is new to me and I know I've been recommended reads on here before. I was planning on going the Epic Collection route to read some old stuff. Just a lot ahead of it in the queue!
