The only time I ever saw them was when my primary school did a couple of book fairs. I did get a few of them then though. I really enjoyed them, but did lose a lot.
I also remember getting a Rolf Cartoon Club book that now makes me feel very uncomfortable. And a Timmy Mallet book that a pray, never ever makes me feel that way.

I keep finding interesting things on Masterforce's blog. There's a whole bit here about errors on tech specs. Enough to blow Shockprowl's mind. I'd no idea that the graphs for the seeeeeeee-oooh-trike planes were all the wrong way round for a start. |

Wow that is interesting! I knew the Strike Planes were all swapped around, but I had no idea about Sideswipe and Sunstreaker! And Scorponok's switched over graph still only gives his strength as 8!

Can't believe you didn't notice Sideswipe and Sunstreaker? It's been pointed out here a few times. It's why Sunstreaker has a out of place red sticker for his rear sides: he should have been red like the Diaclone version

Oh blimey yes, the extended bio for Sunstreaker in Universe explicitly references Sideswipe's shoulder rocket launcher. What does this do for the characters of these two?

I... unngh... the rocket backpack and sleekness are the main question-marks for me in this drama. The rockets and the like I can except. Well, apart from the fact Sideswipe's rifle isn't explained in his Techspecs, and Sunstreaker has the rockets, but kinda not the electro-blast jobbies. It... It *does* fit swapped around, I haven't decided yet if it fits better or not... I certainly don't think I could ever swap them around now after 30 years. |

I've been cataloguing the contents of each issue as I've been re-reading them, however those actual issues are now back in the box in my vault (read: old bedroom at parents' house). If they aren't forthcoming from scans (someone must have scans surely?) I can photograph them on Sunday. Fact File, incidentally, ran from issue #3 to #19 and seems to have ended with the first redesign of the layout. |
