Which of the 75 issues & the 3 Animated is the best single issue. If by story or person working on it? ALso should Titan threads be moved to the old section now they have been cancelled?

I'm going to cheat and say the whole Return to Cybertron arc. Built well on the in theory a bad idea but in practice quite good alternate universe and told a fast, fun story that did something novel with Unicron.

It was a very good story arc, indeed I liked most of the first volume and was sad to see it end.
I would like a decent collection of those 24 issues.

The first issue is still my favourite, simply because it was Simon and Geoff tag teaming.
It would have been nice if they had let Geoff paint it all, and if he had been given proper reference material for the issue.

Yeah the first issue was really good and I liked most of the run prior to ROTF, the only other that stands out is the zombie ish Dead End one.

The first issue does still leave me with a warm glow. As with his Reg work I don't think Geoff's heart was completely in it (he more seems to do the odd bit of Transformers out of his friendship with Furman more than anything else) but Senior not on top form is always still bloody awesome.
If it didn't have the returning tag team it'd likely be a fairly average issue but Senior brings the awesome.
You know, thinking about it, even with the alternate timeline, I think Furman handled the Movie universe better in that first Titan volume than he ever did in the stuff he wrote for IDW. Which, along with all their film comics, felt like they were made by people who really didn't like the films and wanted to make them as G1ish as they possible could (and whilst not liking the films is not an uncommon opinion amongst fans, the film comics are most likely to be picked up be people who do like the films so that seems self defeating).
Something similar happened with IDW's Beast Wars comics, "Hey, this version of the franchise is a bit different from the usual Transformers stuff... Let's make it as much like all our other comics as possible and kill off everything that makes it stand out. The fans will like that".

You do get the feeling that Furman was pretty much left alone with the Titan comic to do what he wanted, save for introducing some toys every now and then.

I think #4 of Vol 1 was when I had a letter published which pleased me no end, especially as comics I wrote into where usually cancelled.

I'm not too a big fan of the Beast Wars comic & have only ready v2 once when printed in the Titan comic. It wsa making everything using the Japan names even for those charcaters with UK names & making the Japan characters apart from a few the lead. I would have liked it to have been RB & UK toys with not using the cartoon cast. We had enough toys released in the UK/US for there to be a big cast.

I thought the Beast Wars comics from IDW were pretty poor if I am honest. Some nice covers by Nick Roche, but other than that a horribly convoluted storyline with an ill-suited artist - Don could not draw texture to save his life. The random Guido issue was much better. Still the profile books did give me great joy, if only because of M's reaction to them.
