Hello and welcome to the forum!
A large number of the 84/5 bots have been reissued relatively recently. eBay searches for Transformers Encore, Transformers Collection and Transformers Reissue should let you find most of them.
Don't go buying individual Thrust, Dirge & Ramjet: they're about to get a nice boxset reissues.

Well, the reissues have pushed down the prices for a lot of original figures. Only Mirage, Sunstreaker and Wheeljack haven't been reisued among the Autobot cars (and Cliffjumper, Windcharger, Gears, Beachcomber and Seaspray among the minibots) and Reflector and Shockwave amongst the original Decepticons. It can be done. I've found that original figures are both thin on the ground and very expensive in Germany. They're better for the late-80s-early-90s period from Pretenders onward. In Britain (and Italy) we had the Classics range, which reissued most of the Autobot cars along with the Dinobots and the original 4 combiner teams, so there are a lot more of them over here and prices are correspondingly lower. Not that I spend a lot of time on eBay. No. Not long enough to establish fundamental patterns and purchasing trends. No sir. There aren't many branches of Toys'r'us that will still have both Sunstorm and Grimlock in stock. Grimlock is presently sold out online but they appear to be taking reservations so they may be expecting more. I know it's really unhelpful to say this, but if you'd contacted us a week ago this would have been a lot easier -Nick

Cliffjumper, Windcharger, Gears, Beachcomber and Seaspray among the minibots Cliffjumper and Windcharger had keyring re-releases. Gears is in TFC 12 Minibot Collection.

Personally I'd nearly always get the reissue. Cheaper, complete and frequently with extra goodies thrown in. I can't think anyone in their right mind would buy original Hot Rod, Kup, Stepper or Megatron over their TFC release. The first three get the mould's original guns an Targemaster. Megatron gets the western accesories, the Japanese bullets and mechanism AND the launcher for within the accessories that never made it onto any original TF version (introduced on the S16 reissue)
I've got an original Wheeljack who's legs died quite quickly after it came into my possesion. Keep meaning to let AndyK and Nick have a look at it to see if it can be salvaged.

Well the grimlock is available in holland for 90 euro's wich isn't so bad,but the Sunstorm is not available for us,so if anyone could purchase it for me that would be awesome, like i stated in my first post!
Well the reason i want the original g1 toys is just cause of that connection and my brain just wont allow me to purchase reissues, same for the turtles, there is a classics line wich is cheap but i still want the original turtles.
Thanks everyone for the extra info, but this guys wants the originals no matter how much it will cost me or how long it'll take me!
Btw I'm going to London this summer, any shops there were i need to go for toys?
Kind regards,
William

Pay Orbital Comics a visit. Other than that avoid Central London like the plague. Toysrus.co.uk and www.smythstoys.com/uk/en-gb/ both have store finders on their sites.

Instead of London, maybe you should take a trip to Birmingham for a few days, say 21st to 23rd August. I am sure you will find many of those toys on your list there.

From my understanding of what Nick and others tell me, the US Ebay tends to run cheaper, though a lot of us sellers won't ship overseas. I live in texas, and if it helps I'd be willing to be a US address for you.

Thank you for your lovely gesture,i might take you up on that.
Ebay us / is indeed cheaper then the european ebays to a certain degree, the transformers are generally cheaper but when it comes to shipping and import charges it's just stupid, for instance.
G1 Jazz = 70/80 dollars Mib shipping = 25/35 dollars import charges = 35/50 dollars total = 130/165 dollars = 105/130 euro
in europe G1 Jazz Mib = 80/90 euro shipping = 10/20 euro import charger = None total = 90/110 euro
so basicly it all depends on import charges and shipping.
Thank you,
William

Yeah, I'll admit it doesn't work for a one off, unless the seller just won't ship internationally (which I don't get. It takes just like, two more minutes to fill out the customs forms. Big deal. I'm kinda lazy, but even I find that REALLY lazy). But I think it helps in bulk, if you're going to get several things, from many different sellers.

I have some of the g1 original characters boxed but I don't know if I could part with them as I've owned then since I was a kid (I am 37 now). Btw I am from Nottingham UK. I have ebay, twitter, payal and Facebook if you need to verify me

Skratch i've messaged you twice. It had only been a day. You should probably give people a chance to come back and respond before you send multiple PMs then declaring it on the board. This is a slow moving board.

Well, I'd prefer not to put it that way. ~_^ Slow moving board implies multiple reasons, including active lives, while the other way implies someone who's always on has none.
I'd prefer a slow board where the sellers won't sell sonethibg out from underneath you after you told them you'll take it, because you don't respond to their PMs within five minutes because you happen to be sleeping in the middle of the night. -very bitter about an asshole on tfw2005-
But... That's my issue. Either way, this is a slow moving board where people need time to respond to a PM, for whatever reasons.

Slow moving? I prefer to think of us as all having active lives! Though certain people's rates of posting in the last week or so might lead one to think otherwise. I read this forum without logging in unless I want to post something myself, and it's only then that I see if someone has sent me a PM. So that's one reason to mention in public if you've sent a PM you want someone to open - so that they know they need to log in and read it. Martin

These are first 3 for sale. Primes are boxed, never transformed. Megs boxed never transformed BUT, he has cosmic rust and fell off my shelf so had to wedge in bit of card in back of leg holes so it stands up full height (can't see a broken piece, just leg won't stay at full extension). i58.tinypic.com/2mmxngl.jpg[/IMG

I have decided to keep Takara skywarp and hasBro starscream. Although I'd prefer to have all mp11 molds,I decided that these ain't that bad after sorting my shelfs yesterday and I need to spend the money on fans toys Dinobots.

OK, i get what you're saying and i get why it may sound harsher than it was ment , but sometimes i get too over excited and enthusiastic when its about buying and selling transformers , and i guess i'm a bit spoiled with the dutch forums where they Always react within a couple ours of posting , my apologies ( too Skratch ).
Anyway back to topic , Skratch i'll be honest i'm not really looking for the earlier nemesis or ultr magnus , megatron. Maybe if the price is right i will consider them.
