It's not G2 UK as such, but it's from Issue 3 of the UK G2 comic and the first exposure to the US material I had and it's on it's way to me.  Andy |

That's the same with me - the first issue I got was #4 so didn't know what had happened in #1-3 with taking a while to get #2. (US issues here)

Issue #1 is where Ben and I came in on this. I'm sure he'll correct me if I'm wrong, but I think these issues were mine (as opposed to the entire original run being his) as I seem to recall he had 'outgrown' comics by then (whereas I believe I had 'outgrown' the toys at this point). Regardless, neither of us knew it was happening and finding it was a delight. Pretty sure we only got the first two or three issues, so we lived in ignorance of TMUK until 2008!

I stumbled across G2 #1 in a newsagent in Crewe. It was a new TF comic - I couldn't believe my eyes! The artwork was terrible (why had the expressive faces been replaced with box art?), but it was great to have a continuation of the original Marvel series.
I could only find the G2UK comics in this one Crewe newsagent. I later found a single copy of G2US #10 in Fantasy World, Hanley, but would have to wait until the Titan reprints to see how the story finished.

One thing about G2 (going by Marvel rather than UK)- could Simon have been after getting certain toys release? We had Starscream, Ramjet, Jazz, Inferno, Sideswipe released in toys - but Simon was using Hotrod a lot.
