It's nice because it's a proper Optimus with a trailer. Playset type addons with Tranformers are always cool because there are so few of them compared to other toy ranges. I'm steering clear though. I experimented with RiD with the first four Warriors and it only leads to disappointment.

Yeah, I really like the look of him. Warrior Prime's crap, but somehow charming. I don't understand...
That said, there are many other things to be imported first, so I shall probably pass.

WHAT?! even Llama, with his elite and extensive collection of Primes is going to pass up on this lovely big original design with a fully functioning trailer? Surely not, Surely not!
(heh heh heh...)

Consider yourself lucky that I am now safely beyond the Wall once more!
Although, now I think about it, I suppose he won't be due out for a while yet...

Huh. I thought I'd posted on here already. But clearly something went wrong.
Anyway, what I was going to say was that I'm glad I held out against Pinwig's temptations - *this* is the nuRiD Optimus for me! The re-mold looks sufficiently interesting for me to plump for it.
I *was* going to say that. But then I saw the pre-order was 65 quids, and decided that maybe it wasn't worth quite that much.
However, what I didn't notice was Drift. Oh my god. That Drift. That looks amazing. And will become my Drift...

Ah, good. Another "buy the whole set!" affair. I don't want Jazz, just Drift!
*waits for the HLJ pre-orders*

I preordered Rumbke/Frenzy on a very strung hunch that it was the two scouts reissued. The price seemed exactly right. And this is a hell of a lot cheaper than the United set ever was, which hovered around $70 new. However, it could be those stupid new minicons. Figured I'd take a chance and get the preorder before price gouging sets in. If I'm wrong, just cancel.
And YAY! I'm right!!!

That is a decent looking Drift. Although I much prefer the safety/lacquer orange on the RiD version. Not sure I'll end up owning either of them mind you - I still have the somewhat hilariously-confused looking Generations version and I find it rather endearing as well as a decent enough version of the character.

The Grimlock looks like a heavy remould of the FoC one to me. It's got the same weapons too.

Overrides pretty cool, but Runabout seems rather similar to Blackjack. (to the point why didnt they just make him Runabout in the first place? certainly fits the stunticon theme fine)
Plus wheres my Throttlebots?

Okay that explains why the toy doesnt really look like Blackjack. I had forgotten that it was even a micromaster homage.

Damn! That'll learn me for being too slow. And for having chores to do and shit. (I should take less time shitting.)
Although, once again, the RiD-style stickers on his chest really ruin things. I want, but I'd have to scrape those off...

Yes! Finally! an Optimus Prime on stilts!
Actually, there's a vague Armada feel about that robot mode.
