I managed to get my room sorted a few days later. It turns out I booked the cheapest rooms showing for the Friday, Saturday and Sunday night, which turns out were not the for the deluxe rooms. The Hilton couldn't help but I kept chancing my luck by selecting every day for a few days after and eventually a deluxe twin room did become available for those nights.
I have been struggling to get excited for this years event, but then again I haven't had any excitement or anticipation for anything until this weekend. Only three weeks to go now the reality and excitement that we are so close has started to kick in.
