Greetings fellow enthusiasts of unlicensed products. I am experiencing a bit of buyer's remorse, and a bit of claustrophobia. Between the two (and the upcoming Hasbro alternatives to some of these big chaps!) I have decided that the following have got to go:
(photos available once my mum sends down my camera charger, which I managed to leave in Glasgow when I was home for Christmas & new year)
TFC Uranos with "Wings of Uranos" upgrade kit AND hip springs replaced with springs from a Cybertron Optimus Prime, greatly increasing the stability of the combined form. I have everybody's boxes apart from the plastic insert from Silverbolt/Blackbird and Steve the Sixth Aerialbot, as he was carried back from Botcon 2013 in a suitcase. Everybody has been transformed a few times, to no visible ill effect. The set cost me around £300 with the add-ons, but I accept that the Hasbro/Takara Superion has made Uranos a bit less desirable. I'm looking for £250 for these chaps.
Fansproject Intimidator/M3. The individual cars look great but I find transforming them rather stressful as documented elsewhere on this very forum. Car Crash/Breakdown has suffered a bit from my ham-handedness and his front wings show crumpling at the very tips from a... difficult first transformation. There is a crack in his gun that suggests it will not survive too many more mountings under his car mode. Everybody else is as new. All packaging for Motormaster/Diesel and Dead End/Last Chance, and flattened boxes for the other three chaps, is included. Paperwork is... here somewhere. I would like £200 for these lads.
Maketoys Quantron. It's a really nice set that I was very much looking forward to, but some of the individual figures are just on the wrong side of the complex/fun/frustrating matrix. Everybody is as-new, and everything is awesome. Comes with giftset box in very nice condition despite travelling to Swindon and back under my arm. This set is currently available online for around £320. I will be happy with £280.
Toyworld Roar. He's Snarl. My favourite Dinobot. He's shiny as all hell. BUT I keep looking at the upcoming Fanstoys Sever and I gradually decided that I prefered the Fanstoys designs even though they're a bit too big. I won't be buying the rest of the squad so there's no sense having a second version of the same character who's a part of a combiner team I will never complete. I did snap the barrel off his rifle trying to pry his fists out of their compartments, but it has been repaired and the join isn't visible unless you look carefully down the translucent barrel. Includes paperwork and very fancy box. He retails at £80. I'm looking for £65.
All prices INCLUDE postage (with tracking and insurance) within the UK.
