Oh yes, I'd been alerted to that possibility a while back. But sadly after I'd moved to Glasgow, and before I unpacked all my Transformers. Which has yet to happen.

For those still mourning the lack of Prowlstator it emerges it's possible to make one usaing the Micromaster version: swap the head and chest (Buckethead/Scrapper) for the Prowl from Micromaster Defensor! Just because you can do something does not mean you should. |

For me its probably like 60/40 in hasbros favour. Most of the individual bots are as good or better than TT. But devastator goes TTs way. Having both tracks on the side of the chest purple balances things better and surprisingly mixmasters foot doesnt look nearly as bad once you apply a purple window and silver grille. Also personally the hasbro one has way too much black on it, it looks like they deployed FPs strategy of when in doubt add black even if neither the original toy or animation model used it.

Are you sure you're looking at Hasbro's? Because it's Tomy's that adds black. Hasbro's black is constructed to tires and heads. Looks like Hasbros hands are black and the rest may just be the purple looking really dark on the box pictures, but in that case I dont much like the placement of the purple like the narrow waist which is far more noticably narrow when purple against all the green than green on green. TT adding all that black to Longhaul is annoying. Hasbros is already better thanks to the silver upper legs, but the black on TT one make it go from just being not as good as Hasbros to being a figure that looks bad without need of a comparison. Extra annoying as Long Haul may just wind up being my favourite mould. |

Hasbro's Bonecrusher is far nicer looking than TT's too, IMO.
It's just Scrapper, Hasbro's would do so well having elbows. Nice figure.

Why didn't Hasbro get a UK release before xmas? I expect that the set is going to turn up next month ready to wait a few months for birthdays.

After watching Thews review of the CW version yesterday, I'm pretty excited for my UW Devvy turning up hopefully this week, if they arrive at Kapow tomorrow as expected.
The things a monster. I've got 3 Unicrons and 2 Supreme Starscreams but this is going to make them look like midgets. (Until I start buying the Titans Return collection next year)

We're that far past the US release in terms of time and later toys released that I'm pretty sure it's been skipped. Nigel, if you're reading this, was he at UK Toyfair? |

Thew compared Dev to them and they were slightly bigger so I'm not sure I'll even have space for them as well. |

He's a good fun toy. The individual bots are better than I thought they would be. Oddly the worst was the first I played with: Scavenger's hip ball joints popped off far too easy.

Finished putting it together, went straight to combined mode, and other than a slightly unstable looking right foot I think it's excellent.
