It is always more enjoyable to get toys off a shelf rather than online. More fun, and also helps avoid some regrettable purchasing decisions. I miss being in toy shops. Soon, soon, when going on public transport doesn't feel suicidal.

Blaster seems okay to me for £27 because he's got a Micromaster sized companion and those were a tenner for a pair a few years back.
But I think this is the new norm and could even rise again given by Christmas a tin of beans will be a fiver and we'll be eating them cold anyway because the oven costs too much to run.

A Smyths is opening end of March in Stockport. Much easier to get to than any other Smyths. It will also be next to Hobbycraft. My wife is a big fan of Hobbycraft.
An opening weekend expedition will be launched come the 25th of March (Uni work permitting).

Hitting the new Smyths first thing tomorrow morning to see what it is like before it gets too busy for Ralphs. Apparently a Tim Hortons has just opened in the same retail park too. Good times lie ahead.
