Actually, less than I think people would expect these days:-
1. Diaclone Body Type set - 1984 Skywarp, Book-style Reissue Starscream, Hasbro Reissue Thundercracker
2. Classics Body Type
Used to own
1. Robotmasters
2. 2007 Movie
3. Armada
I've owned Skywarp and Thundercracker from Machine Wars, but never the Starscream. And we didn't get a Skywarp over here from DOTAMAN so again I only had the two there/ Still kind of regret that the Armada ones had to go though - I think they are probably the most attractive update of the '84 Three that we've had to date.

You do. The incompleteness of the set is talking to you. It's only one little Legends toy. I was tempted by the cheap Thundercrackers and Skywarps in Sainsburgeries these past few weeks but then remembered Starscream didn't come out here so I would have an incomplete set anyway. Then I looked more closely and noticed that I really didn't like the face sculpt at all. Thus was temptation banished! -Ralph |

The Sainsbury's thing is the only reason I haven't yet added him to the collection. I'm loathed to pay full whack for one when I know I just need to find a Sainsbury's that stocks CW.

How many Grimlock toys do you own? OWN: 1) Masterpiece FAB toy, shame the tail's broken on mine. 2) RiD Build Team have you noticed Grimlock is green in both Robots in Disguise series? 3) Fall of Cybertron If the tail was pointed it would be nearly perfect. Instead the tail's tips have been moulded into the sides of the leg in robot mode! 4) Legion5) AoE Wal*Mart/Asda Legion6) Wal*Mart/Asda Grimlock I'd go again on this as a silver with a clear red sword. 7) RiD 2015 Gold Armour Warrior Grimlock - HASBRO: repaint the RiD 2015 Legion in these colours. I have money for you! HAVE OWNED: 1) Action Master My first Grimlock 2) Classic Pretender Jumble sale robot eventually paired with shell and gun 3) Gold Box Classic sold in the 95/6 unemployed purge :-( 4) G1 sold in the pre wedding sale along with the other Dinobots & Devastator. Was never paid for them! 5) Beast Wars The joy of finding this grey imported at TRU! Long gone, wish I had one, but GPS alert! 6) Energon Poor toy. 7) Alternators I can see what they're doing here, but Grimlock is a dinosaur, nice try though. 8) Classic Decent toy but I don't like some of the choices inthe interpretation which I wish was truer to the original Grimlock design and weapons. In that respect RID 2015 Gold Armour Grimlock is better. 9) Animated I quite liked this! |

Classic Pretender
Action Master (also first Grimlock me have)
Energon (from two pack with Swoop)
Classics (me like design - it evoke elements of all G1 toys in various parts of design)
Alternators (me no longer able to transform it - stupid toy)
Masterpiece (Hasbro version - me find at 20% off weekend! Me king!)
Animated
Animated Activator Fireblast (king look good with funky fire pattern!)
AoE Stomp 'n' Chomp (him silly toy - but big fun!)
AoE Legends Grimlock (him actually poorly-fitting Beast Hunters repaint)
AoE Construct Bots (him have chompy jaw - is fun)
FoC Grimlock (from AoE two-pack with stupid silver Prime - him have good colours, but him let down by hollow chest)
Me also hope to find Gold Armour RiD version. And GDO Cyber Warrior version look silly but might be fun!

2014 Legion (the Beast Hunters repaint, but not the Asda one)
RiD 2015 Warrior
MP-08 Asia reissue (which has the apron & tray and metal crown & fire sword and whatnot)
In addition, my FoC Grimlock is pimped out with: Iron Factory shoulders, ArtTek Retro Rex blaster, Zenith Forge head and the repro labels set. And he looks terrific with the Planet X team.

Hmmm. MP, Action Master (the best), AOE Energon version, AOE Voyager version. I think I have a Grimlock decoy unless my memory is wonky. Have owned the AOE one-step changer and the AOE Cruelock repaint and the RID build team Grimlock.

Hmmm. Grimlock... Surprisingly fewer than I thought I had once I sat down and thought about it:-
1) "The Transformers" Grimlock
2) Animated Activator Fireblast Grimlock. ("CARSANDSTRUCKS BAD! DINOSAURS ON FIRE OWCHY!")
3) Masterpiece Grimlock. (Hasbro release with Crown, rather than Tomy release with Hairdryer)
