This week: How many Superion toys do you own? Own: Micromaster Superion - love it, have transformed it recently and no GPS problems to report. I am careful though... UW-01 - very nice set, IMO superior in this deco though I understand why some prefer the Hasbro. Have Owned: ROTF - the redeco of Energon Superion. I quite like a couple of individual components, but overall it's nothing special. And if we're talking components, I own G1 Fireflight from childhood (free gift for getting letter published in TF:UK). I would love to have owned an original Superion. Come on Takara, find a cheap way of refreshing moulds and get back on the reissue train! -Jim

This week: How many Superion toys do you own? I got the original Superion giftset for my birthday in 1986. My mum bought if for me from the Argos catalogue. Because I'd spent ALL SUMMER staring a hole at the page he was on. And that sparked my love for the Special Teams that continues to this very day! When I got Galvatron in 1987, poor Superion fell foul of an off-the-bed super-move after an epic battle between the two of them. Oh, gosh. It was a massacre. My Aerialbots have since all been replaced by Classics versions (except Silverbolt, who I bought the Japanese version so I could get him with a fully functioning launcher.) -- Graham

SUPERION! Own: None Have owned: complete G1. Well kinda G1, the Silverbolt was a G2 Silverbolt, but the limbs were all G1. Skydive and Air Raid had metal chests! You should never, ever, ever, ever mix G1 and G2 combiners! That's like crossing the streams in Ghostbusters! -- Graham

YES! Good point, well made. Have some Robot Points. Ah but does that not make it accurate to SCRAMBLE CITY??? It does but the subsequent releases correcting the line up points to the fact someone realised it was moronic for anyone to have had the idea nevermind for someone to then copy it. The amount of glitches in the Scramble City episode shows how little thought was given to it. It also makes Superion look terrible. It's primarily a mix of white, red and grey/black so who thought 'You know what would make this look better? An ugly splash of maroon and mustard down the right hand side.'

Ah no, see in the cartoon it was a deliberate action as Menasor fires Wildrider at Superion and replaces his leg, giving Superion an evil leg.
This was a real thing that happened.

Ah no, see in the cartoon it was a deliberate action as Menasor fires Wildrider at Superion and replaces his leg, giving Superion an evil leg. This was a real thing that happened. Then he becomes an arm, then a leg, then miscolored, then drawn as a completely different character. Then he's a leg again. It wasn't a well thought out idea and its even worse in execution.

Strongly suspect this for me is just the new CW one. I never had the original. His legs looked too skinny compared to the other SPECIAL TEAMS!!

No, please use the Star Wars quote, it will confuse Phil Im sure I'm already in his bad books. I started a thread on the Real Gear toys when there was a movie toys thread and the Masterforce dub/no dub chat that had to get moved the other day was because I said I hated the Soundblaster MP figure. How angry does he get? Should I?

*shakes head despairingly*
Anyway, Complete Superion...
Own: ROFD Superion (with aftermarket Fansproject upgrades) Combiner Wars Superion (thanks to the helpful assistance of one Shockprowl)
Have owned: Micromaster Superion Energon Superion (victim of a previous "Defense Review", eventually replaced by the upgraded ROFD version as part of "Cope Thunder IV")
I have also owned other versions of Superion components, but that covers the complete Superion.

Shockingly, until Combiner Wars... none.
But after Combiner Wars... one!
Yes. I have the Combiner Wars Mirage. (Which is a disappointing conclusion to this post, really.)
