This Week: How many Grapple toys do you own? Own: None, unless you go the Phil route and count Armada Hoist! (flexible toy that, can be included on so many lists...) Have owned: United Grapple - sold unopened as there were only so many iterations of the mould I could possibly want, and Pyro and Artfire were higher up the list. --- This is a bit surprising to me as from an early age Grapple was a favourite character (until my teens I wanted to be an architect!). I hope there is an MP in the non-too-distant future. Shame there was never an Action Master Inferno repaint. Could you imagine an Encore box set of AMs followed by eHobby repaints? The dream! -Jim |

The original is a fine toy, have you not owned one?
I'd like a CW version from Hotspot but can't quite work out how to do it. I think the combined mode head would need to be a weight on the back of the crane turntable. Maybe have the crane arm itself detach to form a gun for the combined mode.

Just the Armada one, but it’s the Takara version.
G1 version is top of my to buy list to complete the 86 movie toys.
40 - Targetmasters
No originals. Just Gen Scoop I think. Unless we go the Armada route.
41 - Red Alert
Masterpiece

None.

The original is a fine toy, have you not owned one? Only Inferno, have occasionally considered getting hold of one of the Grapple reissues but it's never been a priority. I remember finding Inferno a bit disappointing when I got the TFC reissue; that was some time ago though, maybe I should give him another chance... -Jim |

Just used to own Inferno Volt, nice toy actually, nice mold, I had the Inferno version too, whatever he was called. Wish I hadn't sold them on actually.

OWN1) Encore2) Generations3) RiD Skid-Z4) Armada Minicon Skid-Z5) Clear IndyheatNow Indy Heat is the Japanese name for RiD Skid-Z so a clear version of him should count? 6) ClockerCybertron Clocker was known as Galaxy Force's Skids. This not only is a repaint of Clocker but is a repaint of Clocker in Skids colours so surely this should count? Have Owned1) 1985Found at a jumble sale. Heh. I already.had other comics crushes before Charlene. She meant nowt to me.
Skids I will have to check to verify, but I think the answer is that I used to own Encore Skids, and owned RiD Skid-z but currently own no Skids, only a redeco of the Encore version.

TRACKS!!!!!!!
A fan-favorite in the Shockprowl household. The character never did much for me, until I watched Sunbow recently through the eyes of my little'uns.
Own-
Generations. Not perfect, bit squat, Tracks should be more lanky, but not bad.
Have owned-
G1 as a boy, but he fell apart yonks ago. It was strange, as a boy, I loved the toy, but didn't get the character. I was a FOOL!
Might get-
Masterpiece. 'Cos he's so pretty. Especially if they do a MP Skids, 'cos Nostalgia-gasm makes them a team in my mind, from both having them as toys, and them appearing together in Marvel UK, particularly the issue where, I think, Megatron is in the cole-pit....?

Own: TFC Reissue Binaltech Blue version United MP Have owned: RTS (upgraded to United) I very distinctly remember buying TFC Skids and Tracks as a set when they were released; two toys I had desperately wanted as a child, and so my first big(-ish) import buy. -Jim |
