RAVAGE!
G1 G1 reissue Energon Classics (the one that came with Hound) Siege Data disk Masterpiece
I have a Beast Wars fellow with shiny gold bits who I call Ravage but I'm not sure he is actually Ravage.
A 3P huge Masterpiece style one.
So 7 or 8 (or 9).

It's still Ravage, if you read the bio..... which is more than you can say for Galvatron/Megatron.
You took no issue with my inclusion of Shadow Panther?

But Phil, you are the one who insists remakes with the same name can only be the same person. This is not a Ravage toy.

That is somewhat simplifying my argument. If something looks like a previous toy it should have the appropriate name wherever possible. Use of a previous name will automatically invoke the previous character in fans minds so care should be taken using previous names. As we have covered previously there are some "interesting" choices made, especially during the Unicron Trilogy. In this particular case we have a toy whose name is more a function which is fulfilled by Ravage in the BW Cartoon. The bio steers us to thinking we know this character by other names and has more than one pointer to Ravage tfu.info/2001/Predacon/TripredacusAgent/tripredacusagent.htmtfu.info/1984/Decepticon/Ravage/ravage.htmBoth TFU and TFWiki count this toy, and Shadow Panther, as being Ravage. That will do for me in this case.

But it wasn't sold as Ravage and those sites did not exist when the toy came out. This is altering the facts from the future.
When this toy came out it was sold as Tripedicus Agent.

And the only Tripredacus Agent we'd seen was Ravage from the show. I think it's safe to make that call.
Any idea why they didn't call it Ravage? Lost copyright?

I feel sorry for the Tripedacus Council. Only one agent. Must be a nightmare to get anything done.

They are pretty rubbish to be fair.
If they do have other agents I'm sure they're not so similar to the one we see on screen

Week G: How many Ravage toys do you own now? I'm not actually sure on this one. I can't remember if my Classics Ravage has gone to Toy-Fu yet or if it is still in The Box awaiting its turn to be moved on. So it is possible I currently own 2, but if all has gone to plan then the answer is currently:- 1. "The Transformers" Ravage. Karl

Only if you're sure he's actually in there - he is very sneaky... As for me, not many, despite Ravage being one of my favourite characters (once again being very much the fault of The Enemy Within) - I never managed to get the original back in the day, and in fact didn't own a version of the original mold until a couple of years ago. Here's what I do have: - Alternators Battle Ravage (bipedal)
- Alternators Ravage (quadripedal)
- Masterpiece
- FoC Data Disk
- WFC Cybertronian Form)
- Covert Agent Ravage
- Decepticons Forever Ravage
- RotF Legends
- RotF Studio Series (packaged with Grindor)
- Bumblebee Movie
- Device Label
Also kicking around in the Conjunx's collection is, I am sure, an Encore Ravage at least.

- Kingdom/Selects/Whatever Metals Ravage and G1 set
- Movie Legend
- Movie Deluxe
- Botcon 2016

Week H: How many Mirage toys do you own now? 1. First I got Classics, a work of art, 2. then Robot Masters, named Rijie but he looks the part. 3. The Siege version I find is sadly underrated 4. and Earthrise flawed despite being anticipated. 5. The Siege Holo version I bought only for Aragon 6. and last but not least it's Legacy Toxitron!

1. The Transformers 2. Robotmasters 3. Alternators 4. Universe (loose) 5. Universe (MOSC) 6. Classics 7. Robot Heroes 8. MW Botcon 9. Henkei! Henkei! 10. Generations 2009 Vol.1 11. Kre-O 12. Combiner Wars 13. Siege 14. Siege Fan-Vote 15. Siege Decepticon 16. Kingdom 17. Toxitron 18. RID Mirage
Still waiting on that red Diaclone variant, Hasbro!
Having said that, if they made a Mirage that was more Sunbow oriented in both modes (why is it so hard to make a decent open wheel Mirage? Drag Strip's Tyrell looks fine!) Then I'd probably rebuy all the 'invisble', Toxitron and Decepticon variants all over again...
