If I'm honest, Nightbeat is the only one I prefer to the Hasbro release, of those that are duplicates.
I wouldn't mind the "new" characters (i don't acknowledge Cerebros as anything new over the US fort max with it's stupid wrong face), but I don't really feel terribly plussed to not have them.

I did get three sweeps, because I got three sharkticons. So now I have Legends Scourge as Scourge, and three hasbro Scourges with the sweeps heads as the Sweeps

Skytread/Flywheels Brawn Clobber/Grimlock A flip of this set, with the toy accurate Takara faces would be a smashing Generations Select set. Or heck, just do one monster set with every face tooling Hasbro didn't use in TR.

For the majority of those the real draw of the Takara sets (for me) is not the larger faces, but the additional paint apps on the smaller robots - Brawn especially. But it's not enough of a difference for me to want to get duplicates.

Ooh, who did Lione come with? If I can’t find the Hasbro one I could be tempted with Takara

That was exactly what I came here to post. ;-) And he's got to get it! Not only does he need all the little Titan Masters, but we also all need to know what's on Chama's back! The 'Bee repaint is actually a very nice shade of blue, and I like it. But not enough to pounce on this now.

And he's got to get it! Not only does he need all the little Titan Masters, but we also all need to know what's on Chama's back! The Cerebros Fort Max head, as per the original exo suit figure, with the helmet bit painted yellow. There's a tinsy picture on the box.

Yeah, but can we be *sure* that’s what it is? We need a brave warrior to buy one so we can find out for certain. For the good of all!

Right. Why is no one asking why this band is called 'Bump of Chicken'? Surely that's the pertinent question here?

Ah right, gotcha.
Bloody exclusives. What's with all the exclusives these days? Just another way of getting more money out of us?

Ah right, gotcha. Bloody exclusives. What's with all the exclusives these days? Just another way of getting more money out of us? Part of it, part off it is that Hasbro design and make toys but then stuff always doesn't go to plan. Some of the recent exclusives were clearly supposed to be part of their webstore club thing, which is why they were in the brown packaging that the exclusive Megatron etc came in, but for some reason t hat didn't pan out so they had to offer them round. The Reflector (and maybe the seeker 3-pack?) was going to be a Hascon exclusive (I think) hence the fancy packaging, but that didn't happen and so they had to get it out somewhere. Also there are time when they want to get a figure out but stores won't take it because they feel there's been a glut of merchandise so they offer it as an exclusive to get it out. Going waaaay back that's why RID 2001 Scourge was an exclusive. Hasbro really wanted to get it out but couldn't convince enough stores to take it as a general release so had to offer it up as an exclusive.

Also, Hasbro are trying to appease THE WICKER MAN. Fans need to figure out what exclusives to burn in it to please the Sun Gods so the harvest comes.

There certainly were an unprecedented amount with Siege. If that's being reduced for Earthrise due to better planning they better at least get the three strike planes done one way or the other.

You know, the annoying thing about CW and TR, is how easily almost all CW/PotP deluxes would be to retool to being Titanmaster compatible.
The CW molds are overused and tired, I know. But through Selects, it would be a cheap way to fill some pretty glaring holes. Dead End would make a really decent Nightbeat, and the Streetwise version would make a great Siren. At least, of all available options, those would be really good.
And I think there are a few odds and ends like that that could be picked up.
