Online retailers consistently put stuff up at a reduced or sale price straight away. By no means unusual. As someone who bulk buys new books for sale at events I know that big retailers (like Amazon) often sell at wholesale prices from the start rather than RRP and so appear to be offering things at discount. This is rather different to smaller online sellers marking prices up and then 'discounting' (often to still higher than wholesale prices) from the get go. It's bad practice and deceptive as well as being illegal.

I think it falls under advertising regulations in this case - it was never actually sold at the "original" price, so marking it as a discounted price is false advertising. Don't think any real harm has been done here though, their nearest competitor had already sold out at the same price - and if Kapow were really that bad they could have used that as an opportunity to mark it up a bit!

Youre allowed to sell at an introductory price as long as you have the intention to put the price back up to what you've marked as the original price by a certain date.

To those who bought the T30 Cosmos and the TR version. Err, possibly just Phil. Is the darker green on the TR one noticeable? Having just dug out my T30 one he seems a bit bright.

Bear with, will check.
But honestly the new one is better enough, with the head and neck changed colours (might be new pieces) and move better, that you want the new one anyway!

It's the same thing, with very slightly tweaked color palette, and excluding a significant sized accessory for the same price.
it's okay if you missed the first time around (local stores couldn't give them away), but so not worth it if you do.
They could have at least added some titanmaster pegs for them to stand on.

I was under the impression the Swerve/Cosmos wave was REALLY under distributed to the point where they did a second run! Not that it matters to us because we never got it here. First wave was exclusive to TRU, last wave ( 3 pairs of the last wave, 1 pair of te penultimate wave) got grey imported. The rest - Megatron, Starscream, Swerve, Cosmos, Shrapnel and Tailgate - got skipped. Still bitter. T30 was a bad time to be a UK fan.

Hmm. Interesting. TR Cosmos turned up in Asda didn't he? I might keep an eye out.
Powerglide really does make Seaspray look like a chunky monkey.

I remember the Prime & Bee Legends sat in TRU for ever. It was such a blessing when they lost exclusivity on Generations.

Optimus, Megatron, Bumbles, and Starscream ruined things for some time. I honestly can't remember skrapnel. But Swerve and Cosmos were pretty aweful in my area. Tailgate was slightly challenging, but not by a lot. And I think Gears was pretty rare. I did find Gears, but passed because all these guys are almost absurdly too small. I only have Swerve because I initially bought online and they were only sold together. I wanted cosmos because flying saucer. Swerve i didn't (and still don't) care about. No memory of how or why I acquired Tailgate, but assume it was for similar reasons.

We'd known that for ages thanks to the Trypticon Cereal Box.
Would have been in the Fireblast boxset.

From the rumours thread Let's have a look at the Trypticon Cereal box lists again, this time throwing in names and Factions The Magnus and Scorponok Titanmasters look like they're solo ones, their powers match, bar the tech spec area named, the powers Rodimus Prime (Ultimate Speed Boost) and Thunderwing (Ultimate Strength Boost) had. Given this, and that they bear the name of a larger Transformer, it's a reasonable assumption that they aren't the Titanmaster for a larger toy. That leaves two unassigned Titanmasters, Fengul and Refractor. We have two figures with currently unnamed Titanmsters: Laser Prime and Orion Pax. If we consider Orion Pax part of Titans Return, then it's a reasonable assumption that these two Titanmasters are Orion Pax and Laser Prime's. In which case I'll take a punt and say there's a deluxe Arcee with Titanmasters Ultra Magnus and Scorponok box coming SOMEWHERE. tformers.com/updated-sdcc-2017-trypticon-cereal-box-poster-reveals-new-titan-masters-headmaster-arcee-confirmed/32116/news.html
snakas.blog95.fc2.com/blog-entry-6040.html
FACTION | TITANMASTER | POWER | TOY | Autobot | Dynamus | Evolutionary mode switch | Quickswitch | Autobot | Fengul | Optics Scorch | Grotusque | Autobot | Ginrai | Chokon Power | Magnus Prime | Autobot | Leinad | Healer | Arcee | Autobot | Parsec | Light Speed | Nautica | Autobot | Professor Go | Manipulate cosmic matter | Metal Hawk | Autobot | Refractor | Invisibility | | Autobot | Ultra Magnus | Ultimate Intelligence Boost | packed with Arcee | Decepticon | Fathom | Armor Crush | Tidal Wave | Decepticon | Scorponok | Ultimate Fireblast Boost | packed with Grotusque |
That leaves Refractor, who is PROBABLY then Laser Prime's Titanmaster. Which then leaves a problem because we don't know the name of Orion Pax's Titanmaster. Unless Laser Prime's is Diac, like the Voyager, and Orion Pax's Refractor.
