I'd like to see TR live on somehow. The repaints CW had through TFCC/TFSS/Botcon and the Boxsets don't exist anymore and it's nice to see a new way of getting them out.

Be nice to see an AFFORDABLE way of getting new toys out... which TFCC/TFSS/Botcon most certainly was not outside the US.

It really wasn't inside the US, either, to be honest.
They're all about gouging as much as possible. You should go on toyarama and see some of their "everything must go clearance" prices.

TFormers says, like Arcee, Grotusque has appeared in TRU's database.

Surprisingly, HasCon Arcee has turned up on my German importer of choice! Sadly, the day after my Kapow order arrived. Would have been cheaper to have waited, though I did add a heavily discounted Jyn Erso to feel slightly better about the postage, so there's that...
Love the packaging; this is the kind of thing I'd want from an official collector's club run by Hasbro. Will open it properly tomorrow and get my daughter's verdict then.

Looking at that link I've just spotted Grotusque's product number is the prior on to Arcee: C3541 as opposed to Arcee's C3542

A second figure had a kind of inevitability about it, or the first wouldn't have needed a number, but as we anticipated four boxed sets there being two left over deluxes makes sense (although I'm with Phil on that, I don't think Grotusque was intended for a set, he isn't random enough and his bio doesn't suit intelligence or firepower). The really impressive thing here would be a third figure. Especially as we're now out of known Titanmasters.

Interesting. Do those correlate to anything else? What was Slugslinger's?

Actually, looking at that list - the Primal and Toraizer Titanmasters are still AWOL. Primal has an excuse because of the bigger one coming, but Toraizer being absent means those three beast headmasters are incomplete.

I put Legends Kup alongside Hasbro Hot Rod and Blurr last night hoping to see the trio complete. Sheesh. Doesn't work. Kup is so much more polished than the other two. Definitely think a Legends Blurr would help, but Not Rod is just rubbish. Don't think even Takara's finish will save that.
I really like the Targetmaster too. Neat little figure. Hasbro really need to do a con exclusive set of the six. He's like a Titanmaster in Hulkbuster armour.

Are there six for them to use?

There's six Autobot Targetmasters pcked with Hotrod, Kup, Doublecross (Haywire for Blur), Windblade,, Topspin and Twintwist (for Crosshairs, Pointblank & Sureshot respectively who've not been made yet) There's also Targetmasters with Legends Triggerhappy, Misfire & Slugslinger. So that makes nine.

Doing targetmaster partners for targetmasters that don't exist, over getting Fracas out ala Haywire's technique, makes absolutely zero sense. Especially for Takara's obsession with cartoon accuracy.

And the bonus Scorponok Titanmaster!
Arcee was £39.47 earlier in the month: $29.90 + $20.70. Grotusuqe is $32.90 + $20.70, $3.00 more to start with.

Well golly.
I understand why Arcee cost more as it was a convention exclusive. Why is Grotusque priced so highly?
