Just got a postage estimate from Jetty. Theres some non tfss stuff in it for myself, nick and Kinjacono which makes this more of a guesstimate as Im not quite sure how to split the various costs, but if it gets hit by customs then postage, customs and fees per TFSS figure will be around £12. I think that should be the most it'll be anyway.
Thats not great but the fee alone would be £8-13 if posted individually.
On top of the £35ish per figure for the subscription thats £47-50. I suppose when Groove costs £30 thats not terrible.

Plus everyone at least slightly over paid for the first installment so the actual to pay figure will be less I suppose.

Not sure. If they escape a good cutaing the amount will be much less.
I also need to go back and find out the exact amount I got charged for the first installment and check how much everyone paid.
So wait and see I guess.

It's gonna cost more that the estimate, because once I got everything ready to ship, i wasn't able to reduce the box size.
Unless you guys are alright with me taking the TFSS stuff out of the giant foam inserts, and wrapping them really well with bubblewrap.
That's what's killing it with size and weight.

The TFSS toys don't have a box do they? It's just the foam packaging? If that's the case happy to have mine bubble wrapped.

Its already been sent off, so it's too late for this one.
But yes, they come inside black foam inserts much like the botcon box sets, which are then formed to varying sized mailing boxes.
I don't ship the maining boxes because that defeats a major reason for doing all this.
However, the foam inserts themselves generate a lot of weight (its like an extra toy), and take up a LOT of space.
While I appreciate that they do add protection during shipping, I do believe I can do just as well with bubble wrap.

Next figure will be due in soon. I'll take pictures of how FP ships them, and what they come in.
I mean, I don't mind sending the foam. Hell, if you guys wanted, I'd even pack up the shipping boxes, too.
It's just that this time it cost you guys $82 bucks, and took the largest box I had sitting around.
I mean, I *believe* my packing is sufficient, Andy or Nick have never given me feedback.

So it's coming fast this year. They announced two to three weeks between figures, and so far they've kept up with that. Normally it takes for friggin' ever because as usual, they'd always dragged their feet on getting them out, just like everything else. |

It turns out FP forgot to process/charge me for the second installment of 4.0. So if I hadnt been paying attention either the second pair would have been free or (more likely) the entire order would have been cancelled at some point.
It's always fun and games with them.

There may have been some confusion between yours and mine. When they threatened to cancel my TFSS4, they confused my subscription with your 5.0 subscription when I called them about it.
