You have to use them or accrue more points within 12 months of last using or accruing. So I got points for staying in Aug 2015, I got an email warning me I had a warning email early August, but was under the impression I would get them for the August 2016 stay as I didn't all the points I had built up since 2012 were cancelled within a few days of getting back from TFN. But I didn't find out till I got a statement a while later.

That really sucks. Last year was the first year I registered for Hilton Honours, and I only got some points as a good will gesture when i contacted them to find out why I didn't get any.

I suppose it is worth asking if we shall be getting Hilton Honours points ahead fo time this year.
