More vehicles! Ah. So we now need to promote this from a one off to an actual range then. Interesting.

That is a lot smaller than I'd have expected it to be it has to be said. But then it does have a wide variety of modes and components.

Its smaller than I expected, but the price isnt that far from mp ironhide territory which I guess is a similarly sized large voyagerish toy.

Oh dear.
I think those stickers serve a purpose.
I think they contain something magnetic for the figures' feet magnets to lock onto.
I'm no good with stickers :-(

The figures scare me. Ball jointed shoulders, elbows, waist, hips and bending knees. On a figure an inch high!
So so nervous I'll break one

Of course now I have Diaclone drivers I am having to try them in EVERYTHING I own.
Mirage was slightly too narrow but they fitted just fine in Inferno and Diatrain.
I now need to break some Autobots out of the cupboard....

Oh man, I am really loving that Power Armour. It more resembles the artwork from the original line than it does the original toys - no bad thing all things considered. It has a nice "Starship Troopers" vibe to it - bit like the 88 OAV look. They look fun, and aren't a terrible price point.
I do love that it comes with it's own drop-pod as well! *THUNK* *THUNK*
The only problem is that you can't really have just one bloke in battle-armour can you? To really make them tactically useful you've got to have full squads or fireteams of them...

Looks that way! It has a nice "Starship Troopers" vibe to it - bit like the 88 OAV look. ...and a little bit of research has revealed that there may be a reason that is the case. We know that Kazutaka Miyatake worked on concept design for Diaclone and Microman, what I hadn't clicked to until I did some research regarding Studio Nue, is that Miyatake was also one of the designers who worked on the eighties "Starship Troopers" adaptation for Studio Nue. I can't definitely confirm what he worked on for the latter project but I do wonder if the similarity between the Powered Suit artwork and the Marauder armour was more than just a coincidence... Karl
