Is it obvious what Birmingham New Street concourse means in the aftermath of The Great Transformation? Can we be any more specific? While I remain mobile-less, if anyone wishes to share their number with me for contingencies, I'll happily take it. Train's supposed to arrive at 9.45. If it fails to get me there on time, I'll endeavour to meet up with you guys at the event. Martin I'm sure if we keep stumbling around in circles we'll all find each other. I'm not familiar with the layout any more at all  |

I'd suggest the big open area in the middle that has a pret a manger (amongst other eateries). You're surrounded by the barriers and escalators that lead to the platforms and have a good field of vision (including of the upper levels). Outside that Pret a manger would actually be a good easy to find place to meet.

Where do the buses to Edgbaston stop on that map? There's no way I'll be on site before 11:30 if I make it so I'll have to catch the rest of you up at the mart.

BUSES FROM NEW STREET STATION TO EDGBASTON STATIUM (CRICKET GROUND):
Buses (No. 45 or 47) run every 6 minutes from the Old Repertory Theatre (Stop NS11) on Station Street (bottom right of the map) to the stadium. Alight at Priory Rd (Stop ED).

19:32 Swindon (They're digging Didcot to Swindon AS WELL AS Cheltenham to New St after 12:30, hence the extended Reading Swindon journey) I will have to take the Thors off you on a different occasion though as I'm likely to have a bit too much to carry anyway on the way back! |

Got my ticket for the event! Now to decide if I take the almost full of sigs Vault for the handful of TF related people to sign or if it's time to decide what's going to be my new big autograph book for TFNation.
Oh, and just to clarify: We're getting a bus from New Street rather than the train?

Similarly unlikely for me, too. I have an induction for a new job tomorrow, and it's in retail, so if they ask me to start this week it seems likely I'll be working the weekend too. Fingers crossed they'll wait til mon.
