Anyone got any older toys they'd like to get hold of this year? Yes, I do want to pick up some targetmasters this year, mainly Slugslinger but also I think a Misfire. Also need to finally get a Swoop (again)! |

Transformer UK Classics continues!
Some surprising new reissues as per Trypticon; I am missing Encore et al.
Takara continue to surprise us, hopefully with some unexpected stuff in their teased Beast Wars celebration.
MP Skids!
MTMTE stays on form, hopefully with less Tailgate.
Predictions
No new official Club post-FunPub, but maybe some kind of Hasbro-run online thing possibly with online exclusives for late 2016/2017+.
Takara will unveil their Titans Return releases which will have minor improvements that are just enough to make me want to import theirs instead.
Resolutions
Continue with my more selective purchasing of 2015 and trim the collection yet further.
Actually get out and play with some of the TFs I have in boxes in the spare bedroom.
Catch up on some fiction I missed (got that Victory boxset a couple of years ago and still haven't watched it).

Tailgate was one of my favourite things in the series in season one; I have found him almost unbearable for most of season two.

As such I expect Transformers to have a decent but modest year as RID winds down and it's not a movie year. I predict that the last RID season will basically be a stealth release in a graveyard slot and most people won't even notice til it's done. eeeey +1 blue |

Well. Well well, let's see. HOPES: Masterpiece: SHOCKWAVE!!! And, I can't believe I'm saying this, he looks better than Quakewave.... (still no Megatron.... What a joke that is. Not that I need one *kisses Appolyon*) Hope they keep the MP Autobot cars coming. Still waiting for Jazz. Hope they completely redesign Ironhide/Ratchet from scratch...! I want the 3P Fanstoys MP Sludge. 'Cos it's the only way we'll be getting a MP Sludge (then again, I thought that about Coneheads...). Hope they continue the MP Coneheads and don't make us wait years for all three. Generations: Hope for a couple more Combiner Wars Autobots. Jazz and Ratchet. Brawn? Inferno? Come on Hasbro, one more wave. Just one more. I've given up on a Megatron core and Decepticons Jet-limbs... Hope, STILL, for Legends BEACHCOMBER, SEASPRAY, and K I C K B A C K. FFS!!! Hope Titan Wars gives us great figures like CW pretty much has. I prob' wont get too many, but I hope they keep the good ideas coming. Ohh, and I also hope Micheal Bay stops making Transformers movies. I want a TF movie reboot. Total Reboot. Well, reading that back, it doesn't look all that good. I got Kickback though. And Stomp (MP Sludge) is AMAZEBALLS. MP Shockwave was a DISASTER. MP Cone-Heads are WAY TOO EXPENSIVE. MP Megatron is WAY TOO EXPENSIVE. Ratchet and Ironhide are just not for me, which is another MP disaster. And Masterpiece as a whole is.... going down a path I cannot follow.... I didn't get any more Combiner Wars Autobots. I would have liked a Jazz. We'd all have bought another Autobot cars wave! Silly Hasbro. Titans Return have been putting out some nice looking figures. And the Legends scale is still going strong. So there's hope for the future in Generations. And I'm simply not talking about Bayformers. |
