Sadly, due to someone deciding to get married and having the wedding on that weekend, I shall not be able to make it this year.

We were aiming for the weekend before precisely to avoid this conflict... but alas.
There will be Lego at the wedding. And party sausage rolls.
Manchester also has a very good PnB wall...

But Burns does not go to Weddings!!!!! My rule was always that my first wedding would be my own but as I now see 40 in my rear view window and know that it will now never happen that rule no longer exists. *builds Lego things* -Ralph

Pick a brick walls are not generally a feature of weddings.
Chocolate Fountains however.........

as this is 4 weeks today, Bump.
We're looking a little light on numbers thanks to M getting married this weekend.
Anyone fancy joining Martin & I for some Lego & Pizza?

Looks like it's just us then, Phil. Let me know when and where you want to meet next Saturday. And I won't forget the trades.

I'll need to see how I am Saturday before I know if I'm fit enough to do the show or not, which will probably be after you've had to leave because the trains are on diversion via Gloucester.
Failing all else I'll definitely be at Bottelinos as Midday.
And if anyone else wants to join us either for the Lego show or one of the best & cheapest Pizza lunches you can get .....

I'm not Lego fan enough to go to the show on my own, so why don't we just say we'll meet at midday for lunch and then go to the show afterwards if you feel like it?

There should be Scotsmen in my house and toys all over the living room!
Sorry Martin only just seen your reply!
What would be easiest for you?
Or since it's just us would you like to postpone for a weekend when the trains are more direct?

No, tomorrow's good for me. The train is direct, is just takes the scenic route and I have a book to read.
Still up for a pizza at least?

Great. If you don't feel like it in the morning it would be helpful if you could try to shout before 8am. But I'm looking forward to it!
I forget... can you go in the show shop without paying to go in to the display rooms? I need to buy some children an Advent calendar at some point. Mind you, we do have a Lego Store here I can go to.

I don't think you can.
IF I make it in there which one do you want?
Argos do the city one, Amazon have Lego & Star Wars. Star Wars looks cracking this year, lots of minifigures I haven't got.

Pizza is doable, even if I have to be dropped at the restaurant.
If that happened I could bring Max.....

Argh! And with us low on numbers there will be space at the table for him to have a chair of his own! Thanks for the info re: Amazon, Phil. I need a Star Wars calendar, but I have to send it to Torquay so mail order would actually be preferable to me buying one in person. I will order from Amazon and get it sent direct nearer to Advent. Please don't buy me one tomorrow! See you at midday. Martin

Ooo, while I remember.....
If you're going past any newsagents tomorrow, and you probably will be at the stations, can you see if you can find me a copy of 2000ad prog 2000?
