I am slightly disturbed to learn that Ian does not know who the Minispies are.
I feel we need to test him on the limits of his Transformers knowledge
So Ian, to start our test, what do you know about The Omnibots?

Errrrr
There were three of them. Some kind of mail-away/exclusively type thing. I seem to remember they were unusual in that the rear of the car forms the front/chest of the robot.
No, I did not cheat. No intersnatching.

OHH! OHH! HA HAA!!! Easy one! Bumblejumper is in fact a fan-name given to THE THIRD mini-Autobot sportscar type mold. Bumblebee and Cliffjumper share a similar mold, well incredibly Bumblejumper is another totally different mold! And he was NEEEVVVEERRR REEELLLEEAASSSEEEDD! He is as rare as rare can be. Put that in your pipe and smoke it!

You know I honestly cant remember when I discovered minispies. Maybe TMUK fanzines or early internet.
Did any leaflet type things with them appear in imported stock back in the day?

I came across a comic shop in Orlando in 96 that had loads of loose Transformers and other toys for sale, I picked up a powerdasher then, but again when exactly I found out what it was is a mystery. I may have seen minispies then too now that I think about it.

Would just like to say that would have been a wine/nose moment if I hadn't already drained the glass.
Fuckugly! Brilliant. That describes half the pretender shells in Masterforce perfectly.
