It says his central gimmick isn't that he's a headmaster, but that he EATS Titanmasters. They go down his throat into a compartment in his stomach where you can retrieve them later, much like the Bull Rex from the Lost World: Jurassic Park line.

Love it. Great.
Is there some sort of comman centre for the Titanmasters under those clear ramps?

My only issue is still how stubby the tail is, but it might be bad pics still.

They go down his throat into a compartment in his stomach where you can retrieve them later, much like the Bull Rex from the Lost World: Jurassic Park line. He eats Titanmasters... That's marvellous! There is something highly amusing about that, if true I thoroughly approve. I've been thinking perspective from which a lot of these pictures are taken and I think that the problem isn't so much that the tail is stumpy, as it is that there isn't a lot of taper on it. Rather than sweeping toward a point in the way that we are used to from Grimlock et al, it tapers very slightly and ends in a blunt tip. I think that may be fooling our brains into thinking it looks smaller in proportion to the body than it actually is. I suspect that in terms of a proportion of its body-size its thickness probably makes it more sizeable than MP Grimlock's. I'll likely be able to judge better when I see one someone else has bought at TFnation. :-) Karl

The oversculpting isn't as obnoxious on the actual toy, as it is in the renders. It never is. The renders are always like that - too light and too sharply detailed compared to how actual plastic copes with it. I'm impressed with that. I will be having one I think. If anything, for the base mode. The Cons need a fortress to face off against the Autobots now they have two.

I think its the mid section of the green plastic tail that opens up to let the TM's out. But does the whole unit come out or is it still attached? If you open it if the join becomes loose & then the section falls off after a few years?

How sure are we that this is going to hit around SDCC time again? is the Titan release pattern every July, or is it every line imprint?
T30 - Metroplex CW - Devastator TR - Fort Max ?

If they are showing it now Id be amazed if it isnt out this summer. At least the SDCC version. Takara will be released around the same time as Hasbros unless they decide to make major alterations. Unless Hascon it stealing SDCC thunder this year. Actually it wouldn't entirely shock me if SDCC got the usual premiumish upgrade and Hascon got a bit more Fpish effort like Gigastorm. Though if Hascon does have plans like that I'd prefer a Fireguts or Nucleon God Ginrai set.

Leaving aside all the other toys accidentally revealed here, goto the TR thread for that, here we have Hasbro tweeting a showroom pic of Trypticon:
He's grey. A pale grey.
The toy colours earlier were a darker grey, almost black.
Surely they wouldn't accidentally reveal the SDCC version?
Yes, yes they would.

Huh. Somehow I'm going off him. Not sure why. Not sure I like the base modes or something. Weird. After being so excited, I've just gone right off him.

Looks much better with the arms and legs spread out a little. Who doesn't? But yes, I have pivoted on this in the last couple of days from being very uncertain from the "leaked" renders to loving it. The tail issue is definitely resolved by all the actual photgraphy, although it could still do with being... at least twice as long. But never mind! Because it EATS Titan Masters! And deposits them in the stomach! Or, I'm hoping, in that clear bit at the base of the tail. Which means it eats Titan Masters and then shits them out. Titan Master colostomy bag! Sold. Oh and the "battle station" mode looks much better as some sort of jet thing. Which means that it's now the most convincing triple-changer in the recent Titans range. (Both Metroplex and Fortress Maximus had at least one dodgy, offical mode each.) But it shits Titan Masters. Yep. I'm in.

So now we just need a Tailgate recolour of Wipe-Out, so he can be the Headmaster for TR Getaway and drive all the Cygate shippers mad. (That'd be me, then.) Or something. I don't know. I've had more wine whilst waiting for more reveals. Dammit.
