They should be ok with having this up - its v2 that is covered by the legal ban?

Surprising! Nice too see though. I think I'll stick with my pocket book sized rendition though. It looks so good as a black-and-white production.

Do they only list up IDW planned series releases? Seeing IDW seem to not be interested in printing G2 - but if they ahd a deal to list up titan tpb then it should be up.
TF Gijoe listed released on tpb by IDW 4/2/16

Fairly sure IDW reprinting all of G2 is one of the signs of the apocalypse!

Indeed.
There are never any plans whenever they get asked.

Not a huge fan of this one despite the nice art, but it's nice to see it back out there and hopefully it's a sign that the Dreamwave stuff that they can press into service as money for old rope will wind up back in circulation. As flawed as the ending to both complete series were (Megatron conveniently forgets! The National Lottery hand!) a new War Within omnibus would be especially nice as that's probably the most important (in terms of lasting legacy) thing they did.

The series lost a bit of ooomph when they backed away from a more realistic WW2 setting that was inititially pitched.
The art would be better if Jae Lee hadn't just used Pat Lee drawings as references for the Transformers faces, that was a let down.
Hopefully we'll see War Within 1 and 2 before long.

Is there any hope of ever seeing any kind of conclusion to Age of Wrath? even if it's just a synopsis? or is that entangled in the legal stuff too deeply?

I believe Furman has been known to sell scripts/summaries of what he'd done at conventions.

Does it complete the story? ie, is it scripts for 4-6?

for #4,5 then overview for 6 - or was that Energon end? I've got them but at the same time & its one or the other that the last issues is not a full strip.

Does it complete the story? ie, is it scripts for 4-6? I forget where I have them so can't check but if memory serves the issues that were fully scripted have that but for issues where he hadn't got to script stage he has the full outline. So you get the full storyline. -Ralph

Furman I have not read! I must rectify this situation. Which is going to require a con attendance at some point then.

Interesting indeed. I used to like the Armada/Energon comic. I will have to add these scripts to my collection in due course.

It was full script for Part 4 and 5 and a synopsis for Part 6 for War Within Age of Wrath.

I spotted the printed edition of Transformers-GI Joe in Forbidden Planet the other day. The scan quality isn't bad, but still doesn't have the crispness of the original. The original Dreamwave issues/paperback are definitely the best version to track down.
