Ahhhhhhh....
Yeah! Height is spot-on. Chunkness is spot-on. Everything is.... SPOT-ON! The triangular gun barrel seems odd at first, but later it seems to fit perfectly, 'modern update' style. Build and plastic quality is excellent. Superb toy.
I love this figure!!!!

FT Dracula has arrived, currently stood on my desk at work. Looks good, very simple, which is quite refreshing in the world of copious panelling.

Mech Fans Toys Huge Dragon arrived today. He’s a great wee Omega Supreme. A little smaller than I was expecting, but still a good size for my collection and loads of play value with the included Diaclone accessories.

A couple of very nice items from TFNation.
First of all, Newage's take on Goldbug:
Bought because he's the first Goldbug in ages WHO ACTUALLY HAS A HOOD. I was initially turned off because he doesn't have the corrugated mouthplate, but apparently that matches one of his many animation models, and also he's too small for it to really notice (at my age, anyway). He's small and cute and perfect and everyone should have one.
The other purchase was, of course, MMC's Machine Wars Optimus Prime:
Clearly I do have my biases here, but I much prefer these colours on this mold, and that head sculpt... *kisses fingers*

MMC Spartan has apparently arrived back home. Something to look forward to.
Despite being financially dented by TFN I may also have to succumb to the Downbeat reissue. Just incase Takara don't provide.
(Surely they will. They gotta. They're so close to a full set)

Next G1 purchase has to be the Aerialbots. I need to stick them to Metroplex. I'm on an 86 run now. Going for a clean sweep.

HOT SOLDIERS BUMBLEBEE!
An adequate CHUG Bumblebee has always eluded me. I've never been happy with any of them. So, with the 'New Age Flipper'(?!) being too small, I thought I'd try old reliable Hot Soldiers by Mech Ideas.
AND HE'S GREAT!
His back is a bit open in robot mode, and he looks a bit fat, rounded in the torso (with a big hinge spoiling the asthetic slightly), but he's the perfect size, well made, great face sculpt and....
And...
AND....
HE COMES WITH A LITTLE RAVAGE THAT FITS THE HOT SOLDIERS SOUNDWAVE I ALREADY HAVE!!!!!!

He's way too big to go with Hot Soldiers Soundwave, Ratchet and Ironhide though. But fits perfectly with CHUG, he's spot-on Legends sized.

If anything it's the Jumpstarters that are too short, but I like the variety in the height across the team. Hasbro are going to provide a deluxe Impactor, so that base is covered. |

Zeta Onslaught (Blitzkrieg!) has finally arrived after quite some delay. The box is MASSIVE, he comes with a lot of accessories. By all counts, the combined form seems to be as big as FT Omega. Going to spend quite some hours tonight putting him together.
