No idea how to do R&R without heavy customising. Did we ever see an alt mode for him? I doubt 3P would be interested.

That one is Planet-X FoC Prime, or rather the black repaint of it. Charon.

Old Sharon, this is a pretty solid build actually. Never had a planet X figure yet, quite impressed.

I like them. Had I the cash I'd buy all of that line. Only problem is a tendency for super sharp points and edges.

The Kaptain once made a convincing one from an Armada minicon. -Ralph Rack and Ruin was actually the work of Nick. He made them from two of the Space Team Minicons, exploiting the fact that they were designed to combine at the shoulder as part of the big space-gun. I wish I had thought of it, but I cannot take credit for that one. Karl

THE FIVE RISE AGAIN!!!!
MAKETOYS HOVER AND BOMBER!!!
Kapow had them on sale. I could NOT resist!
These guys are perfectly scaled to fit with the smaller Legends/Legion sized figures. I already have the official Beachcomber, Cosmos and Warpath (the latter now removed from my C.O.C.K.), AND NOW I HAVE ANOTHER SET OF THE FIVE ALL IN THE CORRECT SCALE WITH EACHOTHER!!!!
They're very nice little figures. Good plastic, well detailed, perhaps too much so when compared with their more simplified official team-mates, but they're very nifty looking little figures.
Powerglide's arms transform in a very similar way to his G1 figure, although the arms pop off very easily at the elbow. His face is a little too large when compared with, say, official Warpath's tiny head. But it's so expressive! Great sculpt. His legs don't really transform well, spoiling his jet mode a bit (Kaptain Karlos would have something to say if he saw it). BUT they're rather short in robot mode which is a good thing 'cos it reminds me of his cartoon appearances, particularly the very end of 'The girl who loves Powerglide' when he walks off like John Wayne!
Seaspray is very nice. His yellow fins section stands a bit high in robot mode, but other than that he's really very nice indeed. His legs in particular look great (like me).
And once again, just to make sure Doc' gets it- THEY'RE THE PERFECT SCALE WITH THE OTHERS!!!
THE FIVE RULE!!!!

NEW AGE FLIPPER!
Teeny tiny ickle Bumblebee!
Saw one right cheap on eBay, or was it Kapow... Anyway, I think I need help. I've become obsessed by this 'Small Classics' scale!!!
Ickle Bumblebee is superb! Better aestheticly than any other Bumblebee I've ever encountered! The vehicle mode, the transformation, the tidy robot mode, the perfect face sculpt. Incredible! But he's tiny! He's so small he virtually doesn't exist! He's smaller than a Legion! So, in my mind's eye, he's the perfect size, just coming up to the shoulder of legion Brawn, 'cos I like my Bumblebees small. So well detailed and put together for such a teeny weeny little 'former!

Just a few more words on Flipper. The transformation really is outstanding. Very clever. The way the arms fold under the hood and the rear wheels fold out. He's so so ickle and tiny he's quite hard to physically transform him. But it's stunningly pleasing. THIS IS HOW BUMBLEBEE SHOULD TRANSFORM! Simple but ingenious.

On a whim I nabbed the MFT Scourge since it was going cheap on eBay. Its a nice little figure. A decent representation of Scourge, and in general I think the alt mode is a bit sleaker than the Titans Return version. The only real issue is that there's a serious lack of tabs in the wings, which mean once they're wrapped around the body in alt mode, they don't stay in place at all. But for the money, I'm pretty happy with him.

Having a bad week at work, I might have broken yesterday lunchtime and finally ordered MakeToys' Thunder Manus. I'd been wanting him for ages, but the price hike for the God Bomber armour put me off. But not any more, thanks to the sale.
Just as well nothing enticing also went on pre-order yesterday, eh? *sigh*

And Thunder Manus arrived yesterday. Hurrah!
First impressions: I'm not quite as excited about him straight out of the box as I was Striker Manus. Although the design's nice, and the super robot is just as poseable (I've not put the God armour on yet) it suffers from a lot of fiddliness thanks to incorporating the Powermaster features. That said, the smaller Prime, despite being an absolute pain to transform properly, is a lovely tiny little Prime, and I do like him, and Hi-Q is... well, Hi-Q.
So not bad, but made frustrating by the fiddliness of trying to collapse the cab to get it into the super-armour chest. Still, impressive that they did that, so hoping that this will grow on me.

I found it a great mold (still not cracked and got the Thunder Manus version yet, but need to put aside money for it), but the cab robot was the real surprise for me. Obviously you buy it for the super mode, but the small Prime is a really neat version of the character. Made me keen to pick up more legend sized stuff.
New robot day at my house today. Aside from MPM03 Bumblebee, I picked up the Papa Toys Reflector after seeing online reviews. Had considered the MFT version (and I'm sidestepping the controversy between the two companies), but decided I prefered the Papa Toys colourscheme.
Must say I'm really impressed. The toy is a great design (thanks to DX9's original), but the quality is spot on. All the joints are super tight (some need to loosen off if anything) and plastic feels great.

Interesting. I'd been looking at Papa Reflector as a cheaper alternative to three official Reflectors. How tall is he/are they?

Very much legends sized. They’re in camera mode at the moment but I can try and take some pictures for comparison. Something I missed first time transforming them which is a really nice touch, but there’s a panel in the legs you can fold over in robot mode to fill in the gap at the back. Not something I’d really have worried about at this size class, but a really nice addition. *edit* Got some pictures taken and thrown on Twitter. Sadly most of the rifles etc are still in the box, but hopefully this helps
