Ouch! Just checked and installment 2 has been taken. Each pair works out at about £93. £8 more than installment one.
I'll wait for the statement to come through to make sure thats correct but then I'll have to add on the extra to either the third installment or the postage and customs cost of the package Jetty has just sent.

Over a week later updated to revised customs charges raised and sorted at national hub.

I've gone to the post office every day since LAST monday, waiting for the second shipment. Should have been here by now.
Why won't they just ship out all of them at once? We know they got them. I want this to be OVER. Stretching this out does nothing at this point.
(By over, I don't mean I mind doong ghis for you guys, I'm just ready to be done with FP and their BS)

The second shipment finally came in today, and it is HUGE.
Without removing anything from the foam and clamshell shipping boxes, it would be larger and heavier than the package I just sent.

I normally don't mind doing everything in shippers/foam, and greatly appreciate it when you guys offer to let me ditch that and go with bubblewrap instead...
But this time I'm asking for volunteers for the next two.
It will be unfeasible to do the full shippers and foam for both sets.
These guys are seriously huge, and add a voyager and potentially two deluxes on top of that, and I have a feeling the next one will only be slightly smaller.

To let you guys know, EVERYTHING is inside their shells.
So there are no loose accessories besides their bio cards.
And stuffing the little baggies the weapons and megatron comes in, to prevent rattling and jostling.

Assuming the shippers for the next set are no bigger than this one, I think the five sets from this and the five sets from that will enable enough room to get everything in one box.

Last week was a wash for me due to several issues. But I'll have the pretenders in the mail this week.
Andy got hit with taxes REALLY bad last time and wants them all shipped seperately, and unless requested otherwise I was gonna ship the combiners week after next, so they're not coming in at the same time.
Also, not sure if I can swing two seperate packages at the higher priority international as requested, at the same time.

It's their way of making sure we pay VAT on products we buy from abroad at the same rate we pay on products we buy domestically. Doesn't matter to them if we've already paid the equivalent sales tax in the US already.
Paying VAT is one thing, what is annoying is the collection fee, and the way there is no sliding scale for it. So if you buy something with a value of £20, the VAT is £4, but depending on the method by which it arrives you could also get charged an additional £12 to collect that £4. That's what really blows.
