I know the lack of Phil was terrifying for many of you. Here you can review the preceeding week.
1. How scared were you at the lack of Phil?
2. Do you feel the Hub missed moral guidance?
3. How awful a job do you think Back Up Phil did?
4. Do you feel your knowledge of 5mm posts has slipped?
5. How can we better replace Phil next time?

Thank you for doing this. It will help us all prepare for October's No Phil Week when I anticipate having no Interweb access at all.

I know the lack of Phil was terrifying for many of you. Here you can review the preceeding week. 1. How scared were you at the lack of Phil? I am always scared when I'm not there just in case I've died and nobody has told me. 2. Do you feel the Hub missed moral guidance? The Hub has moral guidance 3. How awful a job do you think Back Up Phil did? Let's put it this way: TFYuki quit twitter while he was in charge, presumably because his tweets weren't reposted here enough! 4. Do you feel your knowledge of 5mm posts has slipped? Yes. But fortunately I've found Soundwave has some new ones moulded into him that I can tell you about later 5. How can we better replace Phil next time? Spaarti Cylinders, it's the way forward!

I feel Phil's week off is what allowed Combiner Wars episode 7 to happen.

No Big Phil Week review-
At first I was afraid, I was petrified... kept thinking I could never post without him by my cyber-side. But then I spent so many nights thinking how he did me wrong (by not having a Top 5 6" Titaniums week yet), And I grew strong, I learned how to get along...
But now he's back, from where-ever he went. I just walked in to find him here with that avatar picture of that woman I can't remember who she is with that sad look upon her face. By now I should have changed my username back, but being Shockprowl Extra gives me something I lack. S'pose I'll change, It back before long, and try to think up a different one for the next time he's gone. He was the one who yet The Doctor take control, Doc' made me laugh, But made me to watch Combiner Wars chaff!
In short, I survived.
But once you've had Big Phil, there's no going back....

I know the lack of Phil was terrifying for many of you. Here you can review the preceeding week. 1. How scared were you at the lack of Phil? Fear, yes I have heard of this concept. Please, explain it to me. It cannot miss that which it has never had. Far from it. Thanks to my own forbidden researchs I have developed methods that should suffice to connect UN Spacy and Planet Zi standard weaponry and ordnance to 5mm peg-holes. Mwahahahahahahahaahh! *ahem* Actually, I've been thinking about that. Given that this is a digital environment rather than a physical one there is no need to settle for simply having the physical world version of anyone when it would be possible to create digitial-space versions of them, which should be capable of running in parallel... I'm currently working on the code-base for Post-Human Integrated Life-Form which if I can get it to work (and integrate the code I...obtained from that Graystone bloke. Which is very poorly documented and rather complexly written...*) should mean it would be theoretically possible to have multiple P.H.I.L's so we would never face this problem. *- fortunately he also appears never to have patented the principles of this code either. If what I've heard about his business partners is true, patents are the least of your concerns if you ever go back there again.Karl

Backup Phil's general failing when compared to the one true Phil is the lack of judicious news filtering. Phil's always on the nail when it comes to things we need to know and see through his daily hoovering of blogs, Twitter feeds and retailers. Backup Phil 2.0 needs news gathering built in. And also having tfwiki and tfu.info installed might help on the answering of mind bogglingly obscure toy questions. 1.0 has been an interesting experiment, but definitely remains a work in progress. I for one now fear what will become known as 'The Minehead Blackout'.

While whizzing behind a bush today (I was on a 27-mile canal walk, to be fair), an angry wasp flew straight for the 'in action' part of my Man-Thing while I was in mid-flow! I admit to screaming down the path for a bit with todger in full view while I desperately tried to wave away the wasp which just would not stay away from that sensitive area. Thankfully, no-one was about at the time. It was a close call.

I was walking, not jogging!
It's a walk I like to do once a year as summer is fading though it damn near ends me. My thighs literally bled.

For how many of those miles did your wasp chum stick by?

Probably just a few yards but it felt like miles. I don't cope well with wasps that fly at my Precious.

The wasps are annoyingly persistent at the moment - I was sitting outside at the Falkirk Wheel this afternoon drinking a coffee and having a well-earned read, and I was repeatedly buzzed by an extremely determined wasp. Waving a book about the Pathfinders, 16 Air Assault Brigade, would dissuade it for almost a minute at a time but back it would zoom on another strafing run...

This all happened because Phil went away for a week.

I was walking, not jogging! Yes, but if you can walk 27 miles in a day you must be more than fit enough to run 5k!

Really it does not deserve your hate, but your praise. You should bring it a gift of honey or whatever it is wasps eat.

No I'm fairly sure the Enemy in the Time Wars where Gallifrey was destroyed the first time in the BBC 8th Doctor books was meant to be the Daleks until the Nation Estate had one of their periodic wobbles.
Enemy is a sad forgotten robot.
