It feels like a lot of the shockwave criticism is down to him matching the cartoon not the comics so as a non comic reader you may have a different viewpoint! Absolutely. If you're okay with the cartoon version, he's fine (if a little light coloured even for that). He's a very good toy if a little plain, but then Shockwave is anyway. If you're a comic diehard and see Shockwave as a true equal to Megatron he just doesn't work. |

He's the right sort of colour, maybe a smidgen too light, for the G1 cartoon which is the basis on which is judge all Transformers. |

I know the pains you are suffering Friend Wig, I too have some nendoroids I have not opened since their arrival at Christmas. Heh. I'm in a bit deeper than that. I have Beast Wars Transmetals that are still technically on the 'new and unopened' pile... If it makes you feel any better I have a collection of late G1 and G2 toys I bought when my local toy shop closed in January 95 or 96. Zap, a couple of laser rods and some gobots I think. I also bought a second Rattrap in June 96 because I wanted the rock bubble variant. Hes still sealed away too. Outside of Transformers I have a Slitherzoid from the late 80s that I have still not opened. And I got a Zoids 2 Slitherzoid from the closing toyshop too. Though non of those are in a too be opened pile in fairness. |

A plan to help Brother Pinwig open is frakking toys already.
And the end of each week, he must have opened a set number of toys. If he hasn't-

I take your plan and ramp it up. As Pingwig has so many toys he can open he could buy one less and donate a few pennies instead to my charity run (see General Board). He will then be able to move all his unopened toys to a secure facility on Planet Zero.

The transformation mechanism on these three-steps is like an enlarged version of the one-steps. It's very clever but it keeps getting stuck. the legion is awesome though. So small, but so well formed. Totally different type of toy to Fixit.
