OK this is weird. Today it finally bothered me that I've never read Detective Comics #27, so I went to get a copy via the Comixology app and... it wasn't on there. That struck me as odd. I know not everything is on there, but I thought that the first appearance of Batman would be a must.
To cut a dull story short, it is available on the Comixology website (for free). So I grabbed it there then had to add it to the app via the "restore purchases" bit. The web also has #28-33 (two issues per 69p purchase) whereas the app starts at #38
Anyone noticed this with any other series?

Must be an error, as it was available via the app, as I bought it a while ago, when there was one of the sales. Drop them an email or tweet, as comixology support are pretty helpful and will respond.

Currently on comiXology for £0.69 a pop is Mark Millar's Superman: Adventures comics.
Go and read them, they are good.
I recommend issue 41, 22 one page stories, the issue is entitled 22 Stories in a Single Bound.

Will give that a go, I dimly recall hearing good things about it.
Is anyone else reading Bandette? It's quite a fun little comic, a bit slight on plot but the point seems to be the style it's evoking and Colleen Coover's art is a joy. Every issue is 69p.

Ralph - my understanding is comixology is all one account, so you can access same stuff from any point.
No Windows phone app or Windows RT app - you SUCK COMIXOLOGY!
Seriously - its like they don't want money or something....

I hope so. It is all-time favourite Marvel team book and the trades had to go for space reasons* a while ago As for The Phoenix, alas I could not take advantage of the subscription offer. Wrong side of payday -Ralph *Along with 90% of my trades for that reason

If they can make a go of that it would be superb. A unified platform for digital comics content in multiple languages, that would really be something interesting.

Remind me how the Comixology model works - I'd never actually properly used them before last night when I bought some TF
I download them to my device right?
But I can remove them from the device? (how? - I have bought rather a lot of comics tonight)
But even then they're still held for me elsewhere and can be downloaded again?

In YOUR COMICS at the top of the screen is an edit button. Press it then touch the comics you want to delete and then touch delete and they are gone from your device.
Yes they are available to download again when you want to.
Comixology server issues means I have only managed to get 3 comics, nothing downloads. Can't download anything.

According to the list in the iPad app I've bought about 300. Got. Whole pile of downloads queued up currently giving errors but there's a hundred or so comics on the machines.
I assume the downloads will kick in when the servers become happy.

What you might have to do is go to the purchases tab and redownload them, as the download error often means when you start the app up again they are gone from your download queue.
