Wolverine Epics .... Epics 9-11 need to cover 101-132. Any go at a precise map is difficult but we're roughly 10 issues plus extras per Epic. So Epic 11 would be roughly 123 - 132 + extras VERY roughly....... .... which is why I was surprised to see Wolverine issues 123-132+ Black Rio appear on Comixology this morning! www.comixology.co.uk/new-comics/2021-02-09?lang=0&RecentList0_pg=2Some background for those not familiar: Tuesday mornings for Marvel on Comixology is missing issues for trades scheduled for (or as sometimes is the case) has been scheduled for that week. Avengers, Thor, Cap & Iron Man, FF, ASM, Hulk & X-Men have their older issues pretty solidly released on Comixology (there might be an annual or 2 missing) but the rest of the Epic titles are patchy. And as for Spectacular and MTU..... Wolverine has a couple of gaps and this was one of them. 58-67 is another, 76-84 is a third. Gaps in Comixology are usually ONLY filled if the issues in them are newly traded or an older trade containing them is released to Comixology (Thursday mornings for those) To the best of my knowledge these issues have never been traded in colour - they're in the B&W Essentials (6 & 7 - especially ropey repro there!) So what's going on here? Is there an up & coming Wolverine trade I've missed? Omnibus/HC? Have these issues been previously collected in colour and that book is due to appear this Thursday, when older Marvel trades not on Comixology appear? Or was there at some point Wolverine Epic 11 on the schedule which was pulled before the info got made public but the request to release the issues digitally now was never pulled? In a normal year this is *roughly* the right time for a Wolverine Epic to be putting in an appearance - have we been granted a glimpse at what Spring 2021 did look like for Epics? |
