Got the issue today...finally and it was such a disappointing comic. The art was sloppy and rushed, particularly in the fight scene with Grimlock and Scorponok and the colouring was bad, almost garish in places.
The story was pretty flat I thought. A few neat moments in it but overall a bit of a dud.
It's not as awful as Spotlight: Mirage but the fact it had someone onboard who can write really strong Transformers comics somehow makes the disappointment of it feel worse than the Mirage comic.

Aside from the atrocious colouring, I thought the issue was decent enough. I do wonder, however, if it was re-written at the last minute (hence all the rushed bits) to accomodate the seemingly pulled-out-the-gat Maximum Dinobots to give Furman something to do while AHM took over the main storyline.
Spotlight Volume 3 is to be Blaster, Arcee, Mirage, Grimlock, and Wheelie, I think.

My favourite editorial slip-through is still "PUT BETTER FONT".

I can't remember which page, offhand. But it's on a control door or something and underneath the artist has written "PUT BETTER FONT".
Apparently the letterer didn't.

I downloaded as soon as it came out a specialist chemicals industry newsletter which we subscribe to at work, which had a legal column in which top city lawyers give advice on complying with EU legislation. At the bottom of the page were a couple of photos of the lawyers in question, with a box next to them saying "I don't know what these two lovely people's names are but will find out and insert them before we go to press."
I downloaded it again the next day and it had been fixed.
I kept the original version.

Hehe!
At least the designer was polite about the missing names!
